Ordered this to use in the neighborhood pond. Lots of fun and exciting play for 3.5 year old visiting grandson. Worked great on land also and after using it outdoors he played with it in the house. We live on the coast and sometimes you need a break from the pool, beaches and physical outdoor play!

I chase my 2 year old around the back yard with it we have good times we drive it in his sand box and his pool

Manufacture stripped out a number of the screw holes during assembly. One of the wheel screws and the battery cover screw hole were stripped out and just barely holding on. The assembler was not careful with torque during assembly. Other than that worked well. Drained water well. Not sure about durability beyond stripped screw holes but seems okay.

it is really hard for kids to open the battery and recharge every five minutes i wish there was an easy access for recharging and needs lasting battery

I love this remote control car. The car came with two batteries that charged pretty quickly and the charge lasted for over an hour before having to charge again. Since there were two batteries, the play was longer - play while the other battery is charging. I got this for my 8 year old nephew and he had the car doing tricks very easily.

This is a really cool remote control car.Much better than the ones I had when I was a kid.Very responsive, fast car that is great for kids, but I think it's fun too.It has great run time on the battery and for the price, I think it's a heck of a deal.
