Excellent Wiper replacements,
These are cost effective, high quality wipers.Easy to install, just follow the directions provided in the box on they're on in seconds. They're also fairly priced in comparison to other similar quality blades from bosch/rainex/etc., and they perform just as well. No streaks or pressure points, and they cut through rain and snow very easily. they even hold up in icy winter conditions in Michigan.

OEM Equipment lasted over 5 yrs update.
These are the original, stock OEM windshield wiper blades that came on my truck in Dec. 2006. (2007 Model). Today 1/27/2012 is the first time having to replace them! They still wipe well with no sounds nor chattering. The reason for changing them is the bottom 3" of the blade tore off. Granted I live in Hollywood, California where there is no snow, except when I travel 4 hrs, which was done for a total of 6 hard snow days. The truck is parked uncovered in the direct sun all day where it has been 115 degrees. During this time, the sun has destroyed 3 sets of wipers on my wife's car.Because of how well they lasted, I began my search for the original equipment. I wanted only original equipment. I found them. That's what these are! They even have the metal pivot pin like the original. Pep Boys (a local major retail car parts store) had the normal RainX etc brand wipers. The parts man directed me to "Hook" type wipers. Hook wipers fit probably 90% of the cars but they do not fit my 2007 GMC Yukon Denali. It uses an "upper clip" type wiper blade (GM part #25877402). No adapters, or arm changes are needed. Both left and right are 22" blades.Installation- The inclosed instructions are sufficient but a couple tips:1. Take your time.2. When removing, take note of how the old blades slot slips into the Wiper arm at the tip. It's easy to install incorrectly and although the blade will stay on for a while, they will not work properly.3. When sliding in the new blade, you've got to press fairly firmly until it "clicks".The only Con is the price. What happened to $12 for a PAIR of wipers?!? I guess I should be happy I actually got what I paid for!Update 2-8-12:It rained and, the wipers performed like the stock ones. They were smooth, quiet, efficient with no streaks.Update 10-20-12:No problemsUpdate 11-4-13Still no problemsUpdate 12-2-14One of the wipers developed a 1 inch tear where a stick was stuck under the wiper for a few days. It causes a 1" streak. Other wiper still perfect: no streaks, sounds, or chattering. One wiper down...lasted almost 3yrs!Update 12/1/18 Was working well until one of wipers developed a tear so I replaced both again. Good service for 4 years. Still happy with wipers.

Best wiper I've found
These wipers are very well priced. I have been using them for many years as the last long in the Southern California sun. They stay soft and hug your windshield to provide a clean wipe.

Bulky & Squeaky
I typically do a lot of reading and researching when it comes to new purchases, which is why I ordered these; 4 out of 5 stars is not bad. I ordered these about 6 weeks ago and should have known from the start it was a bad choice.Amazon let me down with my prime membership (2 day shipping) by not even mailing these out for 4+ days after my order. When I inquired they told me it was due to "bad weather in your area." Which was interesting because while the weather had been bad for 2 days (2 days before they told me that,) during that time they hadn't even sent my item (which was coming from Canada) and in fact it was being shipped the following day; UPS had a label for it, but hadn't picked it up yet.Now before you huff and puff that I'm giving this product a poor review due to the shipping, that is not the case. I love Amazon and even though I'm only a few months into my Prime membership and they have already let me down, I'm gonna let it slide because they are awesome; should probably work on not lying about why an item hasn't shipped though. The actual item is the reason for the 1 star. I hate to make a poor choice, what I hate even more is spending money on that poor choice. But alas, I have made a poor purchase and would like to warn off anyone else who may do the same. The bad:They are bulky. When I say bulky, I mean BULKY. While they do have the fancy new "locking" system (like what you see on OEM windshield wipers for newer cars) the way they have been able to do that is by adding about 2 inches in height to the center of the wiper. In the photo, that middle piece literally sticks up 2 inches. Which is probably why they only give you a side view.It holds my shorter wiper higher up on my windshield. I use to not be able to see under my stock wiper and now there is about .5-1 inch of a gap below the wiper; my assumption is it's because of how high the arm now sits locked into the wiper. They are extremely loud. They have now been installed for about 3 weeks and I kept saying to myself (and my better half) "they just need to break in." We've had some extremely wet weather for the time of year and they have gotten quite the work out; in the tune of 25+ hours, I drive a lot, and they just keep getting louder and louder. The Good:They wipe water from my windshield. My OEM wipers lasted me about 40,000 miles, but I use rain-x and figure I probably use my wiper blades about half as much as other folks. They started streaking at 40,000 miles, but I left them on until they started falling apart at 50,000. I can assure you that I will buy new blades and have to replace this Valeo ones before 50, 40 or even 20,000 miles.Keep browsing folks, these are not a good choice. Unless you jam out to music and drown out the noise, or live somewhere that it never rains.
