These fit in my shoes well and are well made and durable. I think there are some alternatives from other materials where you cut out your own that could save some $, but these are simple and work. I set them out in the sun for a day as needed to deodorize. Wiping down would be fine too.

I've had lower back pain ever since I was a teenager (about 20 years). I had visited a few chiropractors over the years, none of which really did anything that helped long term. When I moved to the Pacific Northwest, I decided to try yet any chiropractor, as my pain had only increased. He found the problem! An x-ray of my hips showed that I had a birth defect, where one leg was 1/2" longer than the other. As a result, my hips were constantly unbalanced, leading to discomfort in my lower back. I went straight home and found this product.I'm not going to lie, the first few weeks of using one of these were actually pretty uncomfortable. I think this is because my back and hip muscles weren't used to this new positioning, so they were going through an adjustment phase. After a few weeks, though, that pain subsided and I have literally had zero lower back pain since. This completely surpassed my expectations! If you have the same problem I do, this may be the answer to your prayers! I don't leave home without one.

These are great. I was able to select the lift size, which was helpful although I did have to trim them for my shoe since these are made for men and I wear a women's size 7. I like that you get a few int he pack so I was able to insert in a few different pairs of shoes without needing to change them from shoe to shoe. My doctor actually recommended these for me, and I am very glad he did. They have held up over time and are very comfortable without any collapse or braking down over time (I was told that the foam ones will break down and not provide long term support). I definitely recommend.

I use an insert in my right shoe and this rubber insert slides around inside my house shoes. Seems to work well on tennis shoes, though.

Excellent with out any reservation. The BEST fit I ever found. It is longer in the heel area than others so you don't feel like your heel is perched on one of those rubber door stops.I have worn a 3/8 lift for three years now and it has really helped me.Try this one.

I have a short leg and if I don't wear a heel lift under my right heel the right leg ends up being short and I get pain in the right side of my lower back. When I wear the lift the pain goes away. I have saved hundreds of dollars this way by not having to go to the chiropractor as much. I had one chiro tell me if I would wear a heel lift it would take my pain away by balancing out my pelvis and he was right.

The risers seem substantial, so they should last. If not fitted beneath the insole, they are a little hard to keep in place.I consider them somewhat overpriced, but think they will serve the purpose.
