Pack of 20 Acana Moth Killer & Freshener Sachets with Lavender Fragrance

I have used these in the UK and like them a lot. The company also make other moth products and I can't seem to find those in the US. Ordering them from the UK and paying a ton for shipping and waiting a long time just didn't seem to be a good option for me. They make a version which are gel pads and you peel off the protecting slip and then slip it into a plastic "cage" which you either hang in a closet or stick to a wall. Both ways have worked for me.

I bought these in the U.K. and was sad when I could no longer pick up.Excited to find on Amazon.I place these in my cashmere summer storage- never had a moth problem.Winter - goes into my sweater draw, the best!!!

Very nice smell and efficient

I had thought that this product was supposed to smell like Lavender. It doesn't. It really smells like the air freshener used in public restrooms at state parks. In other words, the smell is awful. I would never buy these again. Will they keep moths from eating my sweaters? I can't say since I just started using the product today. Even though I washed my hands thoroughly after peeling back to foil, my hands still retain that awful odor.

smell good but... short life

Very strong smell

I have antique toys and I used these all over the room including on one hide covered toy horse. Walked in the room and it smells so strongly of the scent of these and saw a moth all over the item and within six inches of the purple strip. Should be no moths in this closed up room with the amount of strips I had place. It's not the first moth I saw in there either after a couple weeks of being closed up and saturated in the room with the smell of them. Leads me to believe this is not a good deterrent.

Product did not help my moth problem

Like a lot of moth killers this contains an insecticide that is poisonous to cats, however I can’t get confirmation from anyone on whether this product is safe to use around cats. However, my main issue with the product is that after putting 2 tabs in a wardrobe both myself and my wife started getting headaches. After a week I removed the tabs and our headaches disappeared the same day. It’s also worth mentioning that the scent is awful, it’s enough to make you feel sick. On the plus side I didn’t see any moths when the tabs were in the wardrobe!

Have tried other repellents and found that these are the best. They will kill clothes moths, adults and larvae, and will also kill carpet beetles. Being an entomologist, I have tested these and they work.

These sachets are easy to use and they have a pleasant scent. Very handy in drawers or to use when storing knits in plastic bags. They seem to last about 4/5 months which is probably a good average. Mind you: you might forget when they expire (and this is when the moths reappear!) because they do not change colour but just fade in scent. So I have put a date in my diary to change them all with new ones at a certain time.

We had moth in one room but i put the sachets in that room and the adjacent one just in case. There’s moth all over the house now. Upstairs and downstairs. I thought i should put more of the sachets but they just don’t seem to be working. After reading some reviews i realised that some people had received an expired product. I checked and turns out the product i ordered in Feb 2020 had expired in September 2019!

Bought some of these a few years ago with good results. With all the press about an increase in moth I bought again . The first night of using I dotted more than several around in wardrobes etc and the smell was quite intense. After a couple of nights I didn't notice it until opening a drawer or door. Now the smell is quite light but I'm hoping they are doing the job.
