Disappointed that the watering can didn’t light up

Quite expensive..but...perfect Christmas gift for garden lovers, so pretty when lit up

It is difficult for me to review this but I would like to offer as honest a review as I can.I wish we could give give different ratings for the attractiveness of the watering can and the functionality. Based on the first, I would give it a 5. It has a subtle beauty. Based on functionality, I would give it a 0. The lights do not work. The connection to the battery is extremely flimsy and does not stay if it is not hand-held. I am going to have to take the lights out and just use the watering can as an ornament in the garden. I figure, after a while this is what I will have to do anyway because I would have kept the watering can when the battery no longer worked. I chose not to return it for a replacement because I was afraid another watering can would do the same.
