Updated: Psttl reached out to me to talk about the products battery, after sending me a new unit, I finally got to try it out. This one, so far, seems to live up to the battery claims, which was really my only complaint. I tossed it in the water just to make sure it held up, no problems with leaking. Pretty happy overall.Original rvw: I purchased this a little over a month ago, at which point I was so happy with it that I was going to give it 5 stars, thankfully I waited. For the first couple uses the battery seemed to drain faster than expected, but I just assumed I hadn't given it a good enough charge, over the coming weeks I realized instead that it was the unit, not the charger that was the problem. Now, a bit more than a month into ownership, it seems like each time I use it, the battery drops about 5 minutes, I used it this past weekend from a full charge and got almost 45 minutes of speaker life, less than half what it claims to do. I really liked the concept, the sound was good, and I especially liked the price, but unfortunately it looks like I got what I paid for. I would recommend paying a bit more and saving yourself the frustration (my friend has a JBL, same size and stats, works like a charm).

So I never write a review until I have had plenty of time to use the product and in this case until I had a chance to put it through its waterproof claims.We have 2 of these and after going paddle boarding about 5 times 1 of them has failed and filled up with water. When I shake it I can hear the water inside the unit. We keep the speaker snapped to our life jackets and if we fall in, which has happened maybe 4 times per speaker, the speaker ends up about 3 feet under the water for about 5 seconds or so.. The usb port was still securely closed so if water got in that way the seal is defective but I can't say for sure how it got in other than it did and now the speaker is dead. Unfortunately this happened 1 day after the return window closed.Would I recommend this speaker? I would say yes if you don't plan on it ending up in water.

Floats, completely waterproof. Update: sounds great BUT very annoyed that battery life is less than 2 hours at only 70% volume. Not very practical as its always dead or about to die, 3+ hours?? Yeah right !!!!! Batt. Seems to lose life, Only had a month n about an hour less play time than when I got it. Also, "battery about to die" warning sound is very loud n stops yr music for moment then dies n bout a minute. Can use pass-though power wit another battery but it will STILL loudly beep that the batt is low😡

Its simple to use, durable, charges well, and the volume works well, good bass, all in all, I am very pleased with this item. Range is about 125', not just the 30' stated, no obstructions. Very cool item. Thanks

The sound is good, ease of use is great. We used this on a kayak trip, it worked great for that instance but the battery life stinks, nowhere near 4 hours, we got 2 good ones out of it with full charge, the trip took 6 hours, so we went 4 without tunes, kinda defeated the purpose of buying it.

Wouldn't recharge. Tore it apart and had to solder the connectors to USB charge port, since they were not soldered! The typical user would probably not be able to perform this fix, so 1 star for inferior quality control. If you get one that works out of the box, it is a great little speaker. I've used it several times.

It's really loud. Saying that again, really loud. I can't believe that this small portable speaker can produce such a great sound. I have't try to listen with max volume yet. It's waterproof and wireless which means it's perfect for outdoor sport or shower.Pair it with your phone, attach it somewhere, then you are good to go.I attched several photos. The speaker looks good for me and I think it worth the money. Great product.
