Mudder 2 Pieces 5 Inch 8 Hole Hook and Loop Orbital Sander Replacement Pad Backing Pad (Black)

My older Black and Decker sander has 4 alignment pins that went into the original pad. These new pads don't have those holes. I did not want to remove the alignment pins so drilled holes in the new pads. So I used the original pad as a template to drill those holes in the new pads. After that the new pads work well.

This replacement sander pad was a perfect fit for an old Black and Decker sander. This part saved the life on an old tool. Prime shipping was the icing on the cake!

Once modified the backing plate works well. Had to drill 4 small piolet holes to allow the tangs on the black and decker orbital sander to accept the back plates. Once modified, all's good

This replacement fit perfectly. The sander worked perfectly and is like new again and since there were two in a pack, I now have a replacement.

didn't hold up , holding screws went through the plastic backing plate and slung it off.

Purchased in Sept 2023- broke in Jan 2024. I used the first of these 2 discs/plates on my hand sander and it was used for small jobs, nothing big. After using it about 10 times the screws just ripped right out of the disc and it fell off the sander. This product is made from plastic and just tears out. I would not recommend this product and will look into buying a black and decker part instead.

These are 4 holes Makita have 3 at least mine does but I was able to modify them. Otherwise the quality seems good.

Used to replace a grip from a Bosch professional but had to drill an additional hole to fit but this was an easy fix rather than spending a lot more money on a legitimate brand. Value for money is great
