It is used to automatically remove trapped air from a central heating installation, eliminating the need for this to be manually done. It has a shut off cap that can be used to stop auto venting if so required. This item has a 1/2" BSP European Thread side male thread to connect into a standard plumbing pipe fitting.

not well designed and the 15mm not your normal any 15mm pipe will not go inside this should have been explained

It arrived earlier than expected so I was very pleased, I fitted it quite easily and I am just waiting to see if it does what I expected it to do, it seems very well made.
