I think if I knew why it was flashing on red what’s horrible light annoyance when off, you got keep on green to stop that, only way, cool though so i gave it its value 4 star due to that

It works very well. It heats up quickly, and quickly heats you up and objects around you. The remote is simple but effective.It doesn't have a way to have it come on, on a timer. The timer can only be set when it's on. I did expect this to be the case. However, you can't add your own timer or thermostat. It has a rocker switch on top for main power. However, if you kill the power and switch back on again, even in the 'On' position, the heater will remain in stand by mode and won't come on. This forces manual operation. For this reason I have marked it down by one star.The product specification says it has a 2m long cord, which is already not that long. Because it states this in the specs, I would not have an issue with that. Unfortunately, the specs are wrong, and the cord is not actually 2m long. If I pull it tight, it measures 1.7m. This costs it another star.Another problem with the specs is that it doesn't use the power they claim. Most people probably wouldn't check, and would probably be unaware of this. When you choose 650w, it actually uses 550w. On 1300w it uses 1700w. On 2000w it uses 1900w. Only the highest setting is close to what it should be. I understand that the numbers in the specs sound nicer, but that's not a good enough reason for them to be wrong. So that's another star, although not a massive deal, I know.Finally, when this heater is in standby mode, it uses over 23 Watts. In my view this is excessive. It's quite a bit more than most appliances use when in standby. Even things that come with a remote usually use much less.These isuues aside, it is a very good heater when switched on. It is a heater after all, and it is very good at heating. It puts out lots of heat and doesn't seem to get excessively hot.

I can only review this as just arrived so cannot say what it will be like after continuous useage etc but if I change my mind about it I will update later.It arrived the following day, well packaged.It was extremely easy to put together (just 4 screws in the base) and if I can do it, anyone can.The heat is extremely good at a realistic distance and it looks very smart. It has 3 heat settings and a timer (not that I shall need that) and the lead is plenty long enough for any of my plugs indoors or out.All in all, I am very impressed for the price.

Great product! Nice heat wave, good spreading of the heat direction. Can be operated without the remote control (function, I found by accident), by pressing the buttons near the “on/off” and “timer” symbols. Have been using the product since November and I would gladly recommend it to anyone who is looking for energy efficient and good heat during winter months. I forgot to mention that I have turned my garage into a cinema room, because it is too narrow for my car to get in, so I had to utilise the space somehow. It is where I have put to use this heater, and I must confess, that I’ve watched quite a lot of films this this winter. All in a warm and cosy atmosphere. :)

the devola is instant heat the infrared bar glows very bright and hot no need for lighting, the only thing i didn't like is that the stand by light flashes and can be quite annoying overall a very good heater i would recommend to anyone.

I bought this for localised heating, to stand in the bathroom doorway instead of putting the central heating on. It works a treat, I have only used it on the low setting and it works wonderfully well. Highly recommended. This is the type of heater used on bathroom walls but can be moved from room to room as necessary. It might be called a patio heater in some advertising, I would call it a go anywhere heater. Extremely good value when you compare other prices. Just buy it.
