Not a good bar
Bought this bar to replace my previous muscleup bar. Unfortunately this is not a good bar. It very unstable & experience alot of movement in the bar when performing the exercises which isn't acceptable. I would advise people to not waste your money & time with this bar. It's not a good piece of kit guys.

Does the job, but has design flaws
This pull up station is one of the few designs with adjustable height that I have come across. It does represent reasonable value for money, and does the job adequately. It does however have quite a few flaws:* takes up a fairly large footprint - could easily be made narrower without compromising the usable grip widths* the push-up bars are pointless. I am 6ft 5in tall and even with my long arms, there's very little I can do with these* stability is a bit of an issue; this is partly caused by the lower vertical uprights being quite thin-walled, and slightly too big for the uprights that are inserted into them. So when you tighten the bolts, you really have to overtighten them to prevent movement. Doing this literally warps the metal walls of the lower uprights* similarly the design of the cross bar is pretty bad. Instead of nestling on top of the upper uprights, it is raised up and held in place by bolts, and when these loosen over time the crossbar pivots forward or back slightly* the crossbar paint job is slippery, and I had to wrap a latex band around it to provide some grip* the colours look nice but the upper vertical uprights are prone to scratches if you adjust the height. It probably would have made more sense to make the upper uprights grey and the lower uprights red, so any scratches don't show as easilyFor me, none of these flaws are deal-breakers, but it would be nice to see an improved MKII released.
