For the unhinged girlies
Fun and quick read. Very character-based and does not really have the most intricate plot but since the protagonist is unhinged, unreliable, and for the most part, unlikeable, it makes the reading experience more interesting. Should come with a bunch of trigger warnings (ED, SA, etc.)

Surprising, dark, expertly written
I didn't really know what to expect when reading this book and even though I've now finished it, I can't really explain how I feel about it. It's brilliant, dark, twisted, slips between normality and fantasy (I assume?) but I've never read anything like it before. Read it.

Wow
Yes yes yes! What a stunning debut from such a young author. I am obsessed with the protagonist being a dark, cynical and ultimately likeable character. I wanted to hate her but she’s written so beautifully with such gentle nuance that you end up rooting for her.

Incredible
This book left me both in awe and totally disturbed. The writing is incredible and the protagonist, Irina, is absolutely horrible and fascinating. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Wow. Highly recommend.

Fast and fluent
fast and fluent style and a challenge for a reader new to devoting more time to reading in general. Yet to complete reading the entire piece.

Astonishing
The funniest, most thought provoking and moving book I’ve read in a long time. Left me in a daze for a few days. The skilful way in which she handles the issues the book is talking to is incredible. I loved it for all the reasons I found In the Dream House annoying and one dimensional.
