I started painting rocks over the pandemic then realized these things existed and decided to paint on these instead, and turned them into keychains that I can sell at craft fairs and online.They are really light weight, but sturdy, easy to paint and a perfect size for a keychain (even a necklace). Love that the hole is predrilled. A few of the holes were a bit low, but the majority are in a good location. Love them and will buy more when I finish these! I think they were a good value overall.

I bought these for making earrings, that wasn't really that great as far as for that project, but I did use for making ornaments ,and used for buttons on scarecrow, and several other crafts they are really adorable ,if you want to make earrings out of these kind of wood pieces I would recommend getting ones without the holes in them and make your own so they can be better used for jewelry makingFor me the holes were too far back

They are cute lightweight we use them for two year old thumb print ornaments. Of the 50 about seven came broken so I would not say they are sturdy.

My plan was to use these to make Christmas Ornaments with for the holiday season. However, I ran into some problems with the product from the start. While I got them on time, the problem was that a good 1/4 are not useable because the holes drilled are too low in the wood piece. There was even one that had no hole in it at all.I understand the need to sometimes go lower with a hole but this was just not okay. I do have some ornament ideas that will let me cover the hole, but I'm going to have to take my dremel tool and redrill holes in better spots, since I don't have time to return these and get a new order. My other problem was the jute that they sent with it. It is just one single long length that I am going to have to sit and cut as well. That is a time-consuming problem as I'll have to measure the length and cut it into 50 pieces., But that part is me being picky. That I don't care as much about, just the holes not being in the right place is more than a little problematic. So if you plan to use these as I did, they may not work for you either.Also, keep in mind these are small wooden pieces. They are all about 1.5 inches wide, which is what I was looking for. Just something to keep in mind.

Edited: Originally I purchased these wood slices hoping to use them for Christmas ornaments. When I received them, the vast majority of the slices were the smallest size listed (1.57) which was a disappointment. After writing a negative review, I was promptly contacted by customer service to fix the situation. Although these wood slices are too small for ornaments, the company is quick to help. The customer service team routed me to a better option and made my negative experience into a very positive one. Just make sure to purchase knowing that you may receive slices on the smaller scale. Otherwise the slices are sturdy, good quality, and come pre-drilled for hanging.

I purchased these to make ornaments for the employees in my office. They're very cute! The size is more varied than the photo shows, however that lends to the natural feel of them. I had bought chalkboard paint and chalk paint, but found that using a black sharpie and a silver sharpie gave the same effect with less work (I know it sounds tacky, but trust me). The string that comes with the wooden pieces fits perfectly in the holes, which are tiny, so if you'd like to use another string/ribbon make sure it's either small enough to fit or drill larger holes.
