Great product, great deal.
I wish the manufacturer would mark wich way the the numbers/letters are facing when you're using the punches. I used them on 5250 aluminum and they work great, highly recommend practicing the amount of force applied, as you don't want to strike the punch twice or it might turn a blurry mark.

OK for limited use
No markings to indicate which side is the top of the letter, so if you aren't paying attention, you can stamp a letter sideways or upside down. Also, picking an individual punch out of the box isn't easy; there's no way to properly get a grip. That said, they're affordable and get the job done. If you're gonna be using these day-in-day-out, you'll want something better, but for occasional use, they're just fine. Also should note that some of the letters aren't perfectly aligned on the punch (they stamp a little crooked). Not a problem for me, since I care about readability, not looks, but something to be aware of.Other reviews mentioned an oily coating, presumably to prevent rust. Not a problem, just take a bit of time to wipe it off with a paper towel.

Durable
It is durable and it even comes with its own box which is great. Had to return it because it doesn’t work well with 10 gauge aluminum wire I figure I would be needing thicker wire. It’s super oily not sure why but it would be great to give you a heads up.

Review from a metal stamper
I'm a jewelry maker/metal stamper.I grabbed a set of these on a lark because they were a super cheap letter set in a very large size. They aren't crisp and pristine letters- so, if you're looking for something that takes little work and looks great as is? Don't even consider these.HOWEVER- if you're doing distressed metals with things stamped on it? These'll work great. They'll even work fairly well if you want to use them, and then sand down a bit. I can't see any "messy edges" that wouldn't be fixed with a good bit of sanding (or a little dremmel work if you want to grind those letters to "crisp" on your own), or easily covered with some distressed metal..but if you're looking for a crisp clean 'design stamp" with no work? These are definitely not worth your time.

Nice set!
I was allotle scared to purchase since some said they had letters missing. But I checked and I have all mine. They are nice and heavy. The protective coating does have an odd smell but it was easy to clean off my hands. I got them for a leather project but don't have the leather yet so I'll update if I have issues.

Good quality for the money.
When I went to the local part store & saw this set cost $70 I looked on Amazon & found this set for 1/5 that price.... When they arrived I immediately used them... They are a little tight to pull out individually so I found it easier to just dump them all out... With 1 simple tap (my 4 yr old was swinging the hammer) each letter stamped onto the metal frame of a trailer perfectly & clearly... I made the mistake of double tapping which made it look blurry.. This is a very good product for the money.
