Well made high quality knife
I recently took to using my bread maker again and when I made my first loaf I found out I no longer have a bread knife - I suspect my ex got that too somehow.....shocking. Anyway, I needed a bread knife and did not want a cheap one since I have a nice set of knives and know the difference it makes to have quality well made knives and this one does not disappoint. It has a real nice large handle which is easy for me to hold with my big hands. It has just the right amount of offset too so you can cut completely thru without needing to reposition the knife or the loaf of bread you are cutting. It is surprisingly sharp for a bread knife and the blade is made from real nice stainless steel so it should stay sharp for a long time - especially if you just use it for bread. That said it is very solid and does not easily bend so I can see it doing double duty as a carving knife now and then.In the end I am extremely pleased with this purchase and highly recommend this knife to anyone in the market for a high quality bread knife at a reasonable price.

Step above for its price
I’m not going on record saying this is better than some of my high end specialty knives, but this is a step above for is price. This and the other knives in this line are in my traveling toolkit the are sturdy and easy to hold even when wet, they hold their edge well and last well even with poor maintenance. If you aren’t ready for a quality expensive chefs blade or live with roommates or teens who abuse cutlery these are fantastic and cheap enough to replace without breaking the bank compared to high end knives.

Great sharp knife!
We love this knife for its price! Very sharp! But after 2 years it’s gotten dull, I have sharpened it which helps, but for the price we are just going to buy a new one.

Great for arthritis!!
I can cut a watermelon up in 10 minutes with this, perfect for peeling, slicing and placing into containers…I am a small, arthritic woman and this knife has replaced my Zwillig Santoku for ease of use and care.Handle is an easy no slip grip for me and the blade size with the bread like serrated edge, is like using a small saw that can cut round a melon rind with no waste.I will be adding more of these color coded, economically priced knives to my daily meal prep!

Sharp
It fits snugly in my hand and is sharp. Perfect for cutting up a chuck roast, which is what I bought it for.

Need A Good Carving Knife?
I guess there are many good carving knives I would like as well...but for the money, this is about as good as it gets...Sliced through a whole turkey and beef brisket like butter, with no tearing or mauling of the meat.. The knife is sturdy and has a comfortable non-slip handle... better knives might be out there... but not a bargain like this knife....

Cuts like a Dream
Chopping vegetables is no longer the same. This knife was a little heavier than what I used to use but the sharpness of the blade is like no other. I no longer mind the weight because cutting through things like vegetables, bread, or meat is a breeze. Best investment I've made towards a better cooking experience.

Sharp as a very sharp thing.
So sharp, I used itself to cut open the stiff plastic packaging.Rated 4 stars not 5, purely because I find the yellow and black handle ugly. It doesn’t match anything else I own. But!!! It’s the sharpest knife in my *collection, by far.Re-enacted the samurai-sword and silk scarf scene from The Bodyguard perfectly using this knife and a 6lb brisket. Sexier too.*collection = regular kitchen knife block. I’m not some nutter that collects knives.

razor sharp 10 inch chef knife for < £9
I bought this as i want to practice wet sharpening and don't want to wreck my expensive knives. have to say i'm really impressed with it. I got it in a sale for less than £9doesn't have a full tang, but it seems sturdy and handle has a good grip and feel like it will put up with some abuseit made from x30 cr13 steel so should wear more quickly than really good quality knives, but been using it for a few days now and its holding up wellwill have to wait for it to blunt before i practice sharpening

Best so far, but room for improvement
Easily the best bread knife I've owned so far, but still not 5 stars. First off the positives; It's super sharp out of the box, the handle is comfortable and the curved blade makes cutting easy. This should be the reference design for all future bread knives. It's also good value for money. However, there are two problems I've noticed. First, the blade is too flexible. Some of the other reviewers have mentioned the same issue. Cutting through bread often leads to uneven thickness, especially when cutting through the crust. I've owned it a few weeks now, using it every day, and still can't consistently avoid this problem. The second problem is that contrary to what is printed on the blade, this is categorically not stainless steel. If you leave even a speck of water on this overnight it will be stained the next morning. I'm used to working with high carbon steel blades, so washing and immediately drying is part of my routine and this isn't much of an inconvenience. However, if you're the kind of person that leaves things to soak, or dry on the drainer you will have issues very quickly.

Which? Best buy
Bought this on the strength of review by Which? magazine. Yes the handle is a little cheap, but it is rubber, so non slip. The blade though is so sharp. Sharper than my Wusthof knives. So far keeping sharp with simple honing with a steel, just hope it stays this sharp & this easy! Fantastic value.

I like the grip and feel of the knife
I have a good quality high carbon steel chef knife. My latest Which magazine issue highlighted this knife as sharp and stayed sharp. Being a boning knife the blade is considerably narrower and slightly shorter than my chef knife and therefore can be put to a different use for carving in meat and vegetables where the chef knife does not fit due to its size . It is made from high carbon steel, the handle is plastic and of good size. I had it now for a couple of days. Indeed it is sharp and ergonomic. For the price it cannot be faulted
