Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls 3-Book Gift Set

Purchased as a gift for my niece. I had seen it listed on lists of good gifts for 10 year olds. It arrived very quickly. Arrived in a standard Amazon shipping box. This book set is surprisingly heavy. It's also beautifully done. I bought it blindly based on those lists. I didn't really scan through it prior to giving it as a gift. I had already handed it to her. Then I thought perhaps giving books isn't the best idea without knowing the content. Typically I wouldn't care but it's not my kid and they're pretty conservative. I messaged the dad and told him if he was uncomfortable with the content, I'd return it. He told me he checks everything first. His response was "She loves these books and is reading them every night before bed." "It teaches her about strong women and that's what we want her to be".

I have 3 little girls and we found a copy of the OG rebel girls book at our library and it was an immediate fan favorite, so we excitedly found these here and received our very own copies just 24 hrs later, and have been enjoying learning about all these amazing ladies from around the world, most of which we’d never heard of before. I highly recommend these books and am greatly enjoying the discussions different women and girls stories have provoked.

My girls love these books. We had a paperback and bought this set. They are a hit. My 8 & 6 yo girls live the mix of history, fun factual info and good girl fun wrapped in every bio. The short “stories” allow for good reading but challenge with descriptive words and vocabulary that helps broaden my girls’ understanding.

I gifted this to my niece for Christmas. The books and the holder are really great quality. The pages were nice and thick too. I hope she will see the meaning behind the books and conquers the world.

My daughter is 13 and she loved the history as well as current artists she recognizes today. The art is also beautiful! They are short stories , just enough to read during a class, bus ride, or right before bed. These make a great gift !

Great book collection

I read 2-3 of these short stories each night to my little girl. I tell her she can be anything she wants when she grows up. I've yet to use the QR codes to browse more info on these historical/inspirational women, but look forward to doing so in the future.

Good for elementary school children. Their written as nursery rhythms almost.

Books are ok but the box is somehow broken even if packed in plastic.

What's great about this book is that they introduce plenty of women who achieve greatness that could inspire your little one to achieve. However, it has very little substance on how they achieve it and the story behind their struggles. Although it's quite limiting with only 1 page per person, I would say it's a great introduction to these amazing people and you probably have to research on each person more to know their stories better.
