I wanted a vintage pin for my coat. A pin that was stylish and strong enough for a wool coat. These pins are the answer. I love them.

What I liked first. The overall size was good and some of the assortment were cute.Didn't like: The pin part is way too thick. I couldn't use it on the wrap around skirts I bought them for, other wise it would end up with holes. I tried filing down the points a bit, but even the rest of the pin that goes in would be too thick and damaging. Not sure if I will ever find a use for them or if they will just end up catching dust bunnies until I die. I can't just get rid of them, because if I do, I'll think of something I really, really need them for.

Liked variety; make shawls for elderly. Pins keep them in place.

I bought the set as it appeared to have gold and silver pins. They are all gold-toned. Also on the antiqued ones the points on pins are blunt.
