These candles are simply the best chime candles out there in terms of quality and color. The colors are vivid and beautiful, the candles burn well, and the packaging is good so your candles do not arrive broken and scuffed. They are a little thicker than some lesser quality chimes, however, so if you only have one kind of chime holder take note! I have three kinds of chime holders, and here is how they fit:1. White chime candle holder (the sort that typically comes with your basic ‘make a wiccan’ witch kit - yes, that one!): fits very snug and does not go down all the way. Still, if you melt a little wax and drip it in there for stickiness, these candles will be fine for these holders (also true, of course, for the blue holders with the gold stars on them, which I also own). You could also shave off a little wax at the bottom without too much trouble to improve initial fit, but I don’t think this is necessary.2. Clear glass ‘star’ candle holders - these candle holders are also frequently seen in online witchy shops and are used by witches. However, take note!!!!: these candles do not fit in these holders! Further, I do not think they could be safely thinned down enough to fit via shaving wax. If these are the only holders you own, get different holders, because seriously, you WANT these candles.3. Purple cube candle holders with pentagrams on the front and little metal ‘cups’ to hold the candle - another sort of candle holder I have seen in many witchy shops. And hurray!!!! These candles fit perfectly in these holders!!! I owned, but had not used, these holders much previous to purchasing these candles because previous chimes I had purchased were too loosely fitting in these holders. But these holders and these candles were made for each other! So I will finally be able to use these holders. A perfect match and best of the three.I highly recommend these candles!

In my personal experience, I've never had any issues with these chime candles. First, for my preferance they're the ideal candle for magic, the exact same I used to get in my local Wiccan shop before they closed down. I like that it has 2 of a variety of each color for different intentions. I have ordered them in the summer and haven't received them melted before and I live in an area where summers are very hot and humid. Now, I can't guarantee that if it's a record hot day that it won't happen, but hasn't in a typical summer day. They don't take too long to burn. I use the entire candle in 1 use, so it's nice not having to wait around for too long waiting on it to burn down. If you're on a budget and can't afford a huge expensive box, these are perfect. Especially when starting out and you need to purchase multiple things. Also, if you aren't able to get candle holders right away, I've been able to melt the bottom of the candle and it sticks inside of a shot glass and has never fallen over.

2nd time ordering these. They are excellent little chime candles! Very clean and long burning. No chemically smell like you get with other brands. Colors are true all the way through (i.e. not just white candles coated with the color). Very well made with an excellent quality wax and perfectly sized. A tad thicker than some chimes but still fit in most of my holders. Just have to twist them a bit to go into one set but that's not an issue for me. I've also purchased single color boxes (black, white, and red) and the product is consistently excellent. As far as I am concerned I will look no further than these lovelies.

This brand is excellent for chime candles. Available in a variety of colors and very high quality. I'll admit 9-11 USD is a bit pricey for 20 (price depends on demand and color). They burn evenly and are out in 2-3 hours leaving very little mess behind.If you don't have chime candle holders, I suggest you use my trick to support the sticks on a fireproof surface just before lighting (you can dress in oil or whatever you prefer before doing this as long as your fingers aren't too slick afterward). Burn the bottom of the candle until it drips down a few drops of wax before the dripped wax dries plant the candle on top and hold it steady for several seconds. It shouldn't tip over or lean done this way. It's always better to have holders, but if you don't, that will work in a pinch.

No scent and almost no wax at the end, these burn clean for around 2 hours. They are bigger than birthday candles around 4” long and about 1/4” thick. Just a bit thicker than a pencil but they work in a pinch. These are my back up candles just in case I run out of the ones I regularly use. The price is pretty fair for the amount you get. You can find plain white ones for much less but if you want specific color candles these work great.

These are good chime candles, but my issue is that they raised the price. It USED TO be only $12 for a 40 pack of multicolored chime candles, which made it a good value and cheaper than my local shop, but now they've raised it to $17 making it MORE EXPENSIVE than my local botanica. My local store only charges $0.33 per candle and I can choose the amount of each color I want, whereas with these, I not only am paying more, but am stuck getting colors I don't need. MegaCandles needs to get it together. Their prices have raised significantly on here over the last 6 months and i'm sure others have noticed. Its turning into a RIP OFF. I was ordering the multicolored packs over and over when they were actually a fair price, but why would I pay almost double the price of my local botanica, just to have an over abundance of colors I don't need and a LACK of the colors I use the most. Not ordering these anymore unless for some reason my local shops goes bankrupt.
