I wanted a dedicated dog towel for our medium sized dog. She needs a good rub down pretty often after being out in the weather. It works well, just big enough. When I went to rinse it out in the basement sink I was really surprised at the amount of water it held. Amazing. This would make a pretty good camping towel for a person as well. It's pretty light and small when it's rolled up. It seems like it holds a quart of water in use.

I have a 70lb standard poodle with long hair (up to 3 inches in some places and her top knot is at least 6 inches long). I was very skeptical of this product but I needed someone because I'd use 2 Beach towels and they barely did anything. But after the first use it soaked up about half of the water in her fur. I could easily blow dry immediately or just let her air dry completely without worrying about her getting everything in the house wet! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product!! My hair is at the middle of my back and takes forever to air dry - I might buy one for just my hair - haha!

I have a cocker spaniel puppy who is three months old. It did not take the wetness out of her hair I actually had to use the towel I purchased and two other towels to get her dry. There is no way in my opinion that this would work on a larger size dog
