I bought this for my son for a Halloween costume, Alex de large & it was delivered and left at my garage door, right outside it & early. Needless to say, I didn’t expect it to come early so I left to go to work and heard a noise while slowly backing out…when I said that the postman left it behind my garage, I meant it. Box was crushed, but the hat was pristine. It had a slight dent that popped right back and left NO sign of what happened.Very sturdy and well made for the money.

Used this hat for my Cousin It costume. It was the perfect fit. It’s super durable. When it arrived it was dented, but it popped right back in place. Highly recommend and worth money :)

This hat was pretty good considering the price point, but it was too small for my husband's head. He has like a large-end-of-average sized head, if that helps? It fit me, an adult woman, just fine.It's definitely a costume piece and wouldn't have any kind of durability stuffed in a kid's dress up box, but looks pretty good for a play or Halloween costume.

It is very light, thin pressed felt--exactly what I expected. Good for two, maybe three costume uses; probably no more. But, hey: look at the PRICE! If you're looking for a quality hat, BUY one. Thsis is cheap and quick. EXACTLY what I expected, and I'm pleased with it.

I've seen the photo's of another customers crushed model. Fur sure, a bummer. But I received mine in a box, double bagged and in perfect shape. Thank you Amazon and Kangaroo. Anyway. This time, I didn't replace the ribbon. Instead, I added my own small folded bow to the left side. I also added a 1 1/2" inch satin ribbon on the inside. End result? Check out the pic's for yourself. A more classy little hat. Now, if I may offer a few words to those who feel that a "costume" hat is only for, well, special dress-up & silliness. I purchased this item because I happen to have other Kangaroo hats. All are made of a super strong, totally waterproof material and method. I live in Seattle, where, if you aren't familiar, it rains. A lot. And I don't hide out indoors when it does. I've wanted a bowler/derby hat, but as you know, authentic felt, when it becomes too wet, will actually loose it's from. Thus my choice for a "costume" version of this venerable style. Please give this item a thought, including my added little enhancements. It's worth it, and you'll like the end results. Just an idea to consider.
