Fallkniven PCx Fine Edge Folding Knife, Black

Hands down the sharpest blade I've ever used. And I collected the highest end spyderco and fallkniven pocket knives.bi own it's prettier brother in Stellenbosch and carbon fiber handles scales, which I love and carry as a gentlemen's folder when I go out in the town, this is a more rough and tumble and actually sharper version when in in athletic, outdoor activity or casual attire... Locksnip very solid and the pocket clip is also the best designed clip I've seen on any knife as well. It makes room for your grip of the handle perfectly. The one flaw is really the hideous use of gold. Many may like the contrast or the accent but I cannot stand the garfish look of gold and all the hardware on the otherwise perfect knife are made of the shiny color, which contrasts with the blade and silver colored pocket clip. The action also took some oiling to get smooth but now it's very smooth and flawless. It's just that gold version with no other pcx models that come with a pocket clip and thumb stud, both are critical to me, that also come in steel hardware. The PC model looks perfect but are missing the stud and clip, sadly. Nevertheless, the quality and utility make up for the gold so five stars anyway.

Smooth pivot and solid liner lock make it easy for 66-yo right hand to deploy or carefully close. The opening assist button on blade, cutout for it and, liner lock release do make it biased for right hand use. Compact size is just about at MY minimum limit of dexterity for safe opening / closing with one hand. Pocket or belt clip is robust and is of the design allowing knife to ride flush with top of pocket. Wow, it is sharp - haven't yet tested how the laminated cobalt steel sharpens with diamond tools.

Agree with others about the gold accents looking a little gaudy. Left handers will not like no thumb stud on left side. Thumb stud needs to be bigger too. That having been said, they make a really great blade that is sharp as a razor. The CoS steel is great stuff

Fallkniven delivers again with a wonderful cobalt steel folder. Knife looks amazing, and I like the gold plated parts. And the knife is sharp as @&*#. This is my second Fallkniven and I love it. The deep pocket clip is also very nice to have. This is my favorite brand of knives and I look forward to buying another when I have the funds.

Awesome gentlemans knife if your looking for a high quality medium duty knife this is good great steel super sharp handle is a little on the small side but it fits well very good ergonomics perfect EDC good 3 inch blade that's not to big for a discreet use when pulled out in front of people afraid of knives

A bit smaller than i usually prefer in a knife, but this folded cobalt steel blade is durable and will probably outlast me. Something to pass on to a relative.

Nice knife. The straight part of the blade was very sharp, the end of the blade was very dull and the bevel wasn’t centered on the blade.
