My daughter initially refused to wear because of the “weird” material inside the pants felt strange. She got used to it and it was fine afterwards. Very fun pants -recommend as long as your kiddo isn’t picky about fabric feel.

Pretty long for my five year old but the strangest part is that both knees have dark coloration on them

Both of my daughters are tall and lean. I bought these pants in a 5/6 for my 4.5 year old, who normally wears size 6. These are WAY too long for her at both the waist and at the ankle.My seven year old can wear these, but the waist is still high and a bit loose. She wears a 7/8, and the bottom of the flare reaches the floor.There is slight stretch, but I don't know how well it would bounce back if pulled hard. The color is bright and the pants are absolutely beautiful. I'm going to order a smaller size for my 4.5 year old.

I bought these for my sweet daughter, who is 10, after her favorite pair of green leggings bit the dust. They came yesterday, she tried them on and liked them so much she wanted to wear them today without washing them. Some hills are not worth dying upon if you ask me. So, out we went. I have to tell you, these come looking super cool. They have iridescent green metallic paint on them for the scales. They were so cool looking in the morning she even got a compliment on them from a little girl at a Dr's office we walked through. And I thought I'd even be willing to wear a pair of these. Except...By mid afternoon, after all she'd done was sit in cars and walk into stores and around the block with me and her brother for some therapy outings, the knees and the butt already have a bunch of the paint rubbed off. I've attached a picture of one of the knees. So, they haven't even been washed yet. I'm guessing that's going to take paint off as well. I asked her what she thought they should be rated at, and she said 3 stars because of the fading. I would have gone for 2. I would expect over a few weeks to see some fading for sure, but not after a few hours on a day where she wasn't very active.So they're cool out of the package, but if I were going to get a pair for myself, I'd try a different brand. And I'd probably want them in purple. But for my daughter, they definitely were the right color...they just might not stay that way for long.

I love the way they looked and fit on my 7 year old who is 48 pounds and tall. She wears them a lot and they wash well too
