Brain Armor Life's DHA Vegan Softgel Supplement, 350 mg, 180 Count

Under our vet's orders, we give 3 of these to our 8 year old lab every morning. He is in remission after a battle with canine lymphoma. We began giving these to him in his last couple months of chemo, and have continued everyday since. He is now 9 months post-chemo and thriving with not one sign of relapse yet.Our vet showed us a clinical study that suggested algal-derived DHA -without EPA- was especially effective in enhancing effects of chemo and dramatically slows proliferation of new cancer cells. My neurologist Dr. Williams at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles recommended this brand b/c the omega-3s are from the source: algae. No yucky fish burps. To be candid, I don't notice a difference (in thinking processes, in athletic performance, etc) when I take these like some folks report. What I do know is that folks like me who've had at least one concussion tend to be more vulnerable to develop early dementia, but taking omega-3s regularly tends to prevent those ugly dementia-related protein tangles from developing. So, hoping to ward that off and support brain health with this product!

I'm pleased to find a source of DHA without fish oil since Brain Strong was discontinued. This is a bit more expensive but it has a bit more DHA per capsule. I have no way of judging what it might be doing for my brain but I suspect it has something to do with my HDL being 111 and I think it does help with my arthritis.

Some people report problems with DHA and/or EPA supplements. I've been using this for well over a year without any issues at all. I like the relatively large dose per capsule, which isn't common among such supplements. I reordered directly rather than through Amazon and found that the expiration dates were relatively early, but Brain Armor was quick to help out.It may be of interest to note that this can be refrigerated to help preserve freshness.

Brain Armor provides NSF certified DHA Omega-3s without the fishy taste! It works wonders and has been really helpful for my studies. The customer support is second to none and they have been very helpful and prompt when they respond! I have gotten my class mates and wife to start using brain armor!

I have tried other products to get DHA ( the Omega 3 for the brain) but my kids had a hard time with fishy taste, and so much of fish oil is EPA... This is the only product out ther that is plant base and pure DHA.. Kids are fine with it. Tasteless and easy to swallow. and has WAY more DHA than any other product.

If you don’t like fish oil, this is a great substitute

Absolutely NO fish after-taste. Too early to obtain health drive statistical evidence. That said, I don't notice any changes, physical or mental.
