Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon: Official Strategy Guide

This is a complete walk through of the game for both editions, Sun and Moon. It tells you all the basics of who you will be battling, what Pokemon you will face & what they are weak against. It tells you where to find hidden items, Zygard pieces. It has complete maps, tells you which Pokemon are specific to each version of the game, how the game will vary based on the starter you chose.My son and I are playing this together. He is 12 and a Pokemon expert. I’m an adult and have only played Pokemon Omega Ruby prior to this game. We both refer to this book. I ended up buying two copies so that we can each have one. I’m obviously looking up basic things like what is strong against dark, but my son is looking up things on a regular basis too.For instance it provides Zygard core and cell locations which if you missed a few is quite helpful.This is a well illustrated, laid out and written guide. If you log any time in this game you will find it valuable. I’m so happy I preordered it.

If you ever used the previous guides, such as the Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire guide, this one isn't too different. It has full maps showing the locations of visible and hidden items, as well as a step-by-step guide for the main game. Unlike the previous guide though, the post-game is absent and reserved for the upcoming Pokédex guide, which is a little disappointing. But overall, it's a pretty thorough and decent guide. Don't expect any exact percentages and statistics catered towards hardcore gamers.

This book has some good information, but could give more information on when pokemon level into the next phase and how. It includes endgame content, but advertises that the pokedex book coming out also has end game content? Seems silly to have two books when you could make a comprehensive book instead.If I had to give it's most positive point credit, it would be that it is most useful for endgame content. Most everything else can be figured out by yourself.

Overall good, lack of post game help was disappointing but they saved it for the pokedex guide. Also the alola pokedex at the end of the strategy guide used in game asset screen shots and not art which was something that personally bothered me, because always like the art. I recommend it when on sale.

This book is huuuuge! Gives so much information, the quality of the pictures is amazing. Bought it for my niece who loves Pokemon and just started playing the games. She asks me questions all the time now she can just refer to the strategy guide if I'm not around.

SO HELPFUL for my son and I playing the game! We both have Sun and Moon games so it was really nice to have a study guide on what was going to happen next and helped us play the game.

Not as in depth as I'd like but it gets the job done!

This is a must have book for anyone who has the two games. I bought it for my daughter along with Pokemon Sun and Moon game and she said it is a great handbook to have. The book arrived way sooner than expected which was a pleasant surprise for her!

This is a product that you don't need as you can find out the data on line but it is very well presented and I like to buy one for each new Pokemon. The product is easily followed and contains great tips to help you complete the game including a guide to the optional parts of the game that you could otherwise miss. The product is as described but would be much more useful if it contained a more detailed pokedex although I realise there is a seperate book for this. A better Pokedex would earn it that extra star.

Well, I like the new Pokémon guide book because it's got something interesting about what you have to do about battling other Pokémon and also about achieving 'Grand Trails' and so I thought I might read something good about how to win a 'Grand Trail' and also which type that you have to battle about that you are up against.And so, that's what my reason is about that Pokémon Guide Book about what I said.

I have been purchasing the official Pokemon guide books for my sons since Pokemon first came out. That in itself goes a long way to proving how good the guides are. Very concise and full of details to help you get the most out of the game. Will be buying the next game and guidebook when they are out.

I purchased this for My Mum she’s a huge Gamer and Pokemon fan, so she always needs a strategy Guide.
