Julep Eyeshadow 101 Cream-to-Powder Waterproof Shadow Stick – Vanilla Matte – Long-Lasting, Crease-Proof, Light-Beige Matte Cream Eyeshadow with Built-in Smudger

My skin has been so dry, I prefer these soft eyeshadow sticks over powder; they are more fun and complimentary.My favorite aspect of these sticks has to be how fast and easy they make doing my eyes. I use them as shadow of course, but they make a fun easy eyeliner too, especially when I am in a hurry and don’t want to spend a lot of time on my face. They make experimenting fun.One drawback for me is that I can’t tell what the color is without removing the cap. Check out Wet n Wild shadow crayons. For the price it is hard to beat Wet n Wild, and you can see the colors through clear caps. Their many colors are vibrant. AlsoI am not crazy about using the other end of the Julep stick for blending as it is hard on the eyes . The cap fell off my green stick in my makeup case and the shadow dried up 😞My favorite color is the taupe. Not crazy about the shimmery, glittery colors so I enjoy using those to make a dot of color in the corners of my eyes.

I really like these eyeshadow sticks. I love the way they glide on and last all day. I dust a layer of the same color powder shadow over it and it doesn’t budge, but does not dry or burn or sting my eyelids as other long wearing shadows do. Great product and I have introduced it to many of my friends and they are also saying the same thing. We all love these.

The price point on this is 1/3 of the price of the Thrive brilliant eye sticks and the champagne color is more vibrant than Thrives so both of those are a plus in my book.I don’t personally like the smudge sponge that is on the other side. It’s a little stiff and takes the color off more than I would expect. I’ll stick to blending with my fingers or an eyeshadow brush.As for the longevity, I’ve only used the product a few times but seems to stay on throughout an eight hour workday.I would order again.

To preface, I was annoyed when I wrote this. I calmed down, re read the instructions just in case and tried again. I still feel the same. Product does not deliver what is shown, it's hardly pigmented. It does eventually dry down after you have to use your fingers to smear it in. Using the "built in smudger" aka just the product itself doesn't work if you have to mix finger oils to get it to activate. It also sheers out no matter how many layers you seem to put on I mean I was going to town without just being wasteful. Maybe I'm being to harsh and had different expectations than what this product intended but the pictures don't help guide me towards a muted pigment ideal. It also has no instructions on how long to let the formula set on the box or here in the description. Not even an estimate. I think 5+ min of me waiting is more than enough for anything to set in a make up routine in 2022 as trendy as a dewy look may be. Maybe I would have also gotten a better experience had I ordered through their brand and had a chance for customer service to explain or something. Idk ...I feel bad I add a star back....If brands would stop hiding formula changes for fear of losing money then maybe they'd stop losing money from that....not saying this is case I'm just ranting nowBelow was annoyed meUnless you just want to wipe your product away by blinking or doing anything don't get this. There are products that are $5-$7 that work better. I tried multiple times, making the layers thin to try and get this to set. Waiting over 5 min before even going near it and just smudged away becoming almost translucent and not showing any pigment. I think 5+ min possibly more waiting for something to set should be well enough with other products can set much faster. It says cream to powder. Not true. Then you can't return because they know their product isn't performing

I like these! Pretty colors, easy no-tug application, seamless blending, and lasts all day.I did not appreciate these used in conjunction with their eye pencil because the pencil stamped and felt tacky.I have a few of the Laura Mercier shadow sticks, and honestly I really like these better! These are more blendable than Mercier, and they really do feel like powder.

I really like these eyeshadow sticks. They go on smooth with no tugging or pulling. The color (pearl) is a nice highlighter. I have now purchased three other colors. They work great as an eyeliner for underneath your eyes as pictures show on their website. I am happy with my purchase.

I've been looking for a good creme stick eyeshadow because I had one years ago, loved it, and am always lazy and in a hurry when I bother with makeup. Awesome product! Not sticky, great colors, and lasts. Buying more colors now.

First time trying this product, and the color was light than I expected and the stick broke off after only a couple uses. Still able to use after sticking it back in the tube. Next time I will get a darker color. I like these better than your traditional eye shadow that requires a brush and is messier.

Loved the creamy texture and it stays put all day. Brilliant shimmer on the ones I got. I prefer shimmer to matte. Pigmentation is fab. Love them. Wee bit pricy but worth it. No waste and No falling onto cheeks or lower parts of eyes like most powders. Will be buying more. I got bronze shimmer and golden shimmer ones. Love the look of the grey and mauve ones too. I use them every day. Great product.

I wasn't too sure about the colour from the name and photo but I was very pleased with the product, I was concerned it might be too orange but it's a lovely dark bronze-brown. I took it as part of my carry on luggage when on a short business trip and its great for reducing number of items. Extremely long wearing to the point of taking a few attempts to remove at the end of the day. Will be buying more

I don't have much of an eyelid so always struggle with eyeshadows seeping into creases and smudging everywhere - this is a gamechanger! Great colour, great lasting power and even helps my eyeliner stay in place too - now to get more colours :-)

I was looking forward to a rich color that was easy to apply. It is easy to apply but just barely there. Maybe if when it dried I added another coat it might be alright, but as I wanted a quick apply, this just didn't make the cut. Back to Maybelline for me.

This goes on SO smooth, easy and fast. Sponge tip for smudging is perfect size. I wish this particular shade was just the tiniest bit darker & do be aware that it's way lighter than the photo implies. But I believe this is the best eyeshadow line ever.
