HI Pitch Power Bands - Gray

super fast and the right sound
Power bugle is the easiest to use bull elk bugle I have ever found. The grey bands are the right ones to sound like a satellite bull. You can grunt but don't, the herd bull might just round up his cows and answer from farther away. If he thinks your just a young horny bull he is more likely to come kick your ass, and way more likely to let you close the distance to him.

Versatile and early season replacement band
I have been successful in hunting bull elk for over 20 years and always take along my Elk Inc. - Power Bugle to locate bulls due to its tremendous volume. Also, replacement bands are a must when in the field since they don't take up any space, store well and are cheap insurance for knowing you can use your bugle when you need to. While elk hunting, there aren't many things much worse for me than to reach for my Power Bugle and find its Protective Cap was jarred off and the band is missing or damaged. Before I bought the protective cap I used to coil the bugle and stick the mouthpiece in the end of the tube making it look like a big donut, but found I was ripping bands when I took it back apart. The White Bands are made of the thickest latex making them the most durable and are easy to use, but they do take a little more air pressure to sound than the others. I use the white band for locating bulls just before sun-up or late at night. The Gray Bands are in the middle for thickness and ease of blowing which provides for more versatility. It can produce the higher pitched sound sometimes equated with smaller throated bulls or for early season calling when a bull's throat hasn't expanded and become deep/hoarse from calling. The black band is the thinnest and best used for more intricate close-in calling and even making cow sounds. Since the black band is thin it can wear quickly under hard blowing and is more damage prone. Remember, in locating elk, you don't want to be threatening so just bugle without adding aggressive grunts. All you need is an answer to start your hunt. At the end of the season I store my replacement bands in a cool, dry and out of sunlight place. My bands last a long time and even after several seasons my stored replacement bands remain in like-new condition.

E.L.K. make the best calls
The bands are good and I always make sure I have extras when I am getting ready for a hunt - likely I will only use one band for a whole season but I don't bugle all day long either. E.L.K. make the best elk calls on the market today - we have been using their cow calls for close to 20 years and I have been using the bugle (which these bands are for) for at least 10 years, maybe more. Most guys don't know it isn't an elk - the bugle is that good.

The power bugle with the gray bands is the best combination to call in herd bulls
I am literally called in hundreds of bulls with the Power Bugle and I found the grey bands are perfect all around sound. From challenging the largest of pissed off bulls to sounding like a wimp. This call does it all!

Awesome product
Best bugle on the market and great customer service. Middle of elk season and I broke my last black band, they had me more bands in a snap. Saved my season!

Oooooo
Definitely sounds amazing when you put on one of these new bands. Glad it comes with a few extra too. Price might be a little much.

Distinct sounding ranges
I find that these have “distinct zones” and are not as realistic sounding as I would like
