I washed a ton of handmade & delicate fabric costumes with wool worx in the washing machine & was absolutely thrilled (& relieved) that it absolutely did the job with no damage or stress to any of the fabrics.I'm a performer & most of the costumes I make/wear are worn rough, & definitely too delicately crafted or what should be dry clean only fabrics...& let's be honest, if you don't wear suits on the reg and/or are over 50 and/or have expendable cash, who actually takes their clothes to a dry cleaner?Nobody.So thanks wool worx. I can clean all my silky, jingly, sparkly things DIY style & it's the best.

a bit like the chemicals used when you get your hair permed
I wanted to try this out based on the reasonable price. However, it has a strange, unpleasant smell, a bit like the chemicals used when you get your hair permed. I did wash something with a very small amount of it, possibly once it is dry it will not have that smell. If that is the case I will update this. However, if you do genuinely have high quality yarns or knitted items then I don't recommend this wash. I put too much work and love into my knits and spend far too much on hand dyed yarn to have it smell bad.

I Loved It!!!
I washed a number of cashmere sweater with Wonder Wool Wash. First I couldn't believe how dirty they were. More that that even though I hand washed 3 sweaters this did not dry out my hands so you know that it doesn't dry out the cashmere. Easy to use and smells great!

No suds & very slight smell.
I bought this for a fine wool yarn project because it states that it contains lanolin and perhaps it does. It also smells very slightly of something vaguely lemon. However, after following all directions, there were no suds at all. In the directions it states that you need to change the water until there are no more suds. I can't help but wonder what is in this bottle--does not appear to be a sudsing soap.

Excellent wool washing formula restored my throw blanket
Old wool retro throw blanket had a musky "old" smell to it was left in storage (was harshly frayed) so i figured I would try to restore it. Needless to say Wonder wool wash made my blanket smell fresh again ridding the horrible musky old smell I could not stand and conditioned the wool where the fibers look like new again.

Excellent Product!
Wonder Wool Wash worked great for our delicates! It smells great! The detergent kept my clothes in great shape and it removes stains really really well! Was looking for this product everywhere and I'm happy I found it. I would recommend this to everyone. Very happy.

One of the worst products I ever bought
Despite immense shaking the substance was a solid mass. I broke it up with a chop stick and finally got some out of the bottle. There were little white lumps in the murky wash water. I washed a sweater and it got marginally clean and smelled fine.The directions were hard to read - took bright light and magnifier.
