Buy the lead but watch the YouTube dog training video before you use it.
I was told to get one of these by my vet and before using it I watched a YouTube video on how to use them with your dog and within minutes of using the lead I had my dog in full control walking to heel. However had I not watched the training video it would have been a total failure.

good quality for price
purchased this as it does not tighten to "choke" dog if it gets too keen and begins to pull. Tension is enough to dissuade dog from pulling, but gently releases as soon as they stop. Highly recommend. Excellent value for money. Similar product available on High St at two to three times the price - with shorter lead length and metal ring which tightens too much. Very happy customer.

Great lead for any dog.
Brought this for my staffy as she doesn't like to wear collars but this is great easy to use and nice and quick to get on and off also has a good length and also the price is great haven't found them cheaper in any shops near me.

Useful to keep by the door
Bought this to quickly secure our rescue lurcher at the door, while we work on training. I don’t walk him on this as he needs a greyhound collar, but he doesn’t have that on in the house, so this slip lead is ideal if I need to get a lead on him quickly to answer the door etc. The lead is good quality, and takes seconds to put on (as long as you have a cooperative dog of course!) it hangs loosely round the neck if there is no tension. I wouldn’t recommend for a dog that pulls on lead as I can’t see anything to stop it from tightening too much, and I’m not convinced ours couldn’t get out of it if he really wanted, but it’s perfect for what we use it for, a really quick way of getting a lead on your dog.

Good lead for a good dog
Lovely lead! Perfect for my basset! She doesn't have a collar because of her skin so I instead of fussing around with finding a collar and lead at walk time I decided to try a slip lead! Bright bold colour so it's easy to find when I'm in a rush. Comfy material and just a good all round lead. Recommend so far so good

Needed to feel more secure
Nice colour.Bought for my 10 month old Goldie. Quite uncomfortable in hand after a long walk especially if he's pulling more than usual. The stop catch doesn't keep the collar bit of the lead in the desired place and it slips around making the 'noose' part quite loose. Any other Houdini type dog would have likely slipped it off I'm sure. Bought a much sturdier one from Amazon, the Hunter Retriever Freestyle (triple the price of this one to be fair) but I needed to feel fully confident when walking my pup which unfortunately, I didn't with this one.

BEWARE!!!!
I have a rescue pug who was never walked the first 1.5year of his life until I got him, so pulling was/is a major issue because he's so excited to see the world.Desperate to retrain him, I decided to ditch the super expensive harness I was recommended and tried this lead/collar. First few days were okay as he was scared of getting choked whilst pulling. But then when he did start to pull, the collar part began to mess with his breathing and I now have a dog that wheezes and coughs trying to breathe, I've spent many nights up with him worrying about his wellbeing. We had to go back to the harness. So if you have a strong dog (and I assume you do since you're looking up this product), who will still try to pull despite chocking, you're taking the risk of damaging his neck and throat.Another issue is the handle. This thing was KILLING my hands. The lead has some cable (??) Inside that doesn't want to go with the flow as in twist when the dog goes around something and doesn't come back to the original position. But it doesn't only twist around my hand, it also twists around his neck, chocking him. This product is so dangerous that it should be taken down asap.

Strong and flexible lead
Bought this to replace a much thicker training rope leash which had developed a "hernia". Kinder than a thick rope leash but would prefer the leash can be "shorten" by the introduction of a clip and ring in the middle. It can be difficult to control a dog with the lead fully extended.
