This worked well, after three hours frozen items were still frozen, which I didn't expect as the bag is quite thin and I had my doubts. However, it did the job and I am very pleased with its performance.

Similar to insulated shopping bags I've had for years, the fabric outer doesn't seem as sturdy and thick though the bags themselves are bigger than my original ones. They have the silver foil type lining to keep frozen foods, dairy and meat or fish products chilled until home from shopping. They're also useful for cold drinks and if you have a freezer which needs defrosting. There have been a few reviews on poor stitching, my two bags seem okay, time will tell. The folding back into pouch seems impossible but there is a knack to it. Place the bag with zip pouch facedown on flat surface, fold the two sides of the bag to the centre, fold the top and bottom to the centre. Fold this oblong shape top to bottom then holding with one hand work the zip around to close. Hope this helps and makes sense.

A good size bag, with handles long enough to carry over the shoulder, this obviously helps when carrying multiple bags of shopping, so happy with that.Sadly, I only used this bag twice before I noticed the bottom of the bag had ripped along the seam. As I've never carried anything particularly heavy in it or packed it full of shopping, that was disappointing. However, the lining is still intact and I've used it a few times since then and it's been fine as the lining is quite sturdy and well stitched (I have a two mile walk home from the shop, so it's not just a quick trip from a car to the house), and the outside fabric can probably be restitched...although I shouldn't have to. I was very pleased when I first received it, but I expected it to last longer for the price, hence the three stars.

Wanted a cheap bag to keep stuff frozen while I defrosted the freezer. Did the job perfectly for an hour as that was all the time I needed. It seems to be just the outside and a silver lining with no extra insulation. Not much to it but seems quite strong and well made. Folds up into a nice small package for putting away in a drawer. Would probably be useful to keep in the car too I don't think it would keep stuff hot/cold for hours, but it was only £5. I thought it was good value.

If it were a promotion gift, i.e. free, I wouldn't remark, but since I paid for it... I don't expect it to last terribly long. The zip is decidedly dodgy, so that'll probably go first.Meanwhile, though, useful size for my daily food & drink supplies for work.Also useful for the dairy shopping.I wouldn't expect it to keep stuff cold for terribly long. But it suffices til I get to the fridge at work/home from the supermarket.

This was purchased because it folds and zips into a very compact travel size. The fail however, is that once opened you will not be able to zip it closed again. This is because there is a small hook on the bottom of the slider body of the zip - see picture - which pierces the fabric the zip is attached to, jamming it as you try to draw it closed. Terrible design. Cannot recommend this product. Awful design

This is a most useful item for getting ice cream, ice cubes etc back home from the supermarket.I’m not sure how strong the handles are so I won’t over- load it.Also I found the zip of the initial unfolding very stiff so I won’t be folding it back to its original size.

Ordered 3 of these coolbags to replace some Sainsburys ones we've had for years. We were very surprised that the 3 bags arrived in a package no bigger than a hard back A4 size book. The bags look flimsy compare to the ones we are replacing due to broken zips. Don't know how long these new ones are going to last.
