Just right size. Very pretty

It calls itself a salad bowl, although looking at it I think if you use it for its described use you'll find yourself on the hungrier end of portion control.I sit it on a console table and use it to hold my keys and wallet, and for that it works well. I expect with time the teeth of the keys will slowly scratch through the wood but for now it's holding up excellently.

I was hesitant to order this online, as wood products tend to never really looks the same as the picture. This is not the case with this bowl. It is not only attractive, but it feels substantial, not cheap. I was pleasantly surprised. I had also ordered a larger bowl from Sur La Table, and honestly I think that this bowl looks nicer than the "high end" one. It has a nice finish and nice weight. It is on the smaller side, but it's perfect for what I need it for. Very happy with this purchase!

Quality product!! This is exactly what I needed to match my walnut wooden mirror from Ikea! I’m using this bowl for my entryway for keys and wallets but it would be beautiful as a bread bowl as well. For reference, my furniture is 30 inches wide.
