Perfect shirt if you want good quality and a pocket.
Like many of us, I need to carry reading glasses so my old, plain shirts just did work. These run very large so order accordingly.I have taken medium for over 40 years. Then I bought one of these from Tractor Supply and got home to find that a 'Medium' can cover up my truck. I tried a 'Small' and it fits like a Medium, used to.Now that I am retired and sell at Flea Markets all summer, I need ... 'This' shirt. I now have about 20 of them. All different colors so people don't think I wear the same one every day. :)My eyes are at the point where I cannot read anything without them. However I don't need them passed 6 feet. Thus...the pocket! I need one all the time. The only downside at all is that you have now idea which shirt came from where. That said I have two of these that after about 20 washes start to deteriorate around the hems. I have a Carhart from about 30 years ago that has little wear even now. Knowing that, I still buy them.

The Perfect Shirt
These Carhartt are great and I own a bunch of them. As a retiree, I have found that in summer months, these are the only shirts you need in your closet. The pocket easily accommodates an iPhone Pro Max sized phone, so you can avoid back pocket carry which can breaking your glass or make embarassing butt-dials. I have some Tall ones, which I purchased in expectation of normal shrinkage--but these shirts absolutely do not shrink in the dryer. Unless you can dunk a basketball, stick with the normal length. I do carefully remove the Carhartt tags on the chest as I do not want to impersonate the likely usual customers for this product--hardworking men who do skilled labor with their hands and take their showers at the end of the day.

Wish I could rate it 10 stars.
Other companies should take notes from Carhartt. Walk through any store in any mall and feel the materials of the t-shirts. Paper thin, “dri-fit” or “dry-soft” or “comfort cool dry soft” or whatever other gimmicky name they put on them. Almost every single shirt. They look horrible, because they highlight any body fat you may have, and as soon as you wash them they’re unwearable, either shrunken or ruined by pilling, stretching, etc. Everything is made to maximize profit and minimize production costs, under the guise of “keeping you cool”. Buy a fan and some carhartt shirts, you’ll be cool. These shirts are the exact opposite of everything else in current year. COTTON. Heavyweight, hick, durable, can wash and dry it 1000 times, the fit never changes. It’s like an old Ford Crown Victoria. May not be as fancy as a benz, but it’s built to last. I have a few colors now and they’re the first thing I want to grab when getting dressed. They may be plain, this just allows you to wear some loud sneakers or pants. I also appreciate the effort to produce everything in tall sizes and stock retailers with tall sizes (and they’re not wider and tall, they’re just the size you want, with added length). Other brands don’t get this either. I’m not wearing a 2xl when a large is just too short. Large Tall fits me perfectly and I’m not giving everyone a crack show when I drop my pencil on the ground. Carhartt just gets me. I imagine a lot of other people feel the same way.

I love the T-Shirts, usually purchase them at TSC .but this was a good deal and Color I didn't have ..so Great price, great quality, comfortable, pocket is Handy for My noon meds ,and eye glasses, I ride Horses so believe or not I have been known to put a bottle drink in my pocket to keep it close at hand .also I'm not a Gal who wants to show Off My Breast so it Covers them well .the way some women walk around these days. They should take more pride in themselves. Thank you I'm done ✔️.

I like the quality of the material.
This is my first Carhartt shirt. I'm pleased with the color and the results of the decision I made to buy it and how it fits on me. I will buy some more Carhartt products in the near future.

Great quality fabric
When i first got my shirt, it was big. I wear 3xl, and the shirt went down to my mid thigh. But after a wash and dry, it has become my best fitting shirt. It did shrink but i needed it to shrink a little. The fabric used is dense and feels very good. Not a thin fabric like the garbage you get for the same price from walmart.Im sure if you follow washing instructions it will not shrink. Love this shirt

Sturdy shirt great for everyday
This is a very strider shirt! My husband loves it. He wears it for working and for everyday use. I would buy again. They do run large but eventually shrinks a little.

Carhartt
The BEST in tshirt, I got tall men bc I’m a bit heavy and it gives me more shirt - comfortable and wears like iron. And fits nice.

Made wide and long
Ordered the big and tall for my husband and they are CERY generous in sizing - almost too long and too wide! Not much shrinkage in the wash. Order regular size or size down if he’s a thinner man

Harding working wear
This shirt is made to last, it is well made, heavy cloth material, and well constructed. This shirt will last a very long time.

Shirts did not live up to the "Carhartt Hype"
In looking for a good work shirt I did a lot of research and have come across many review sites and forums of people raving about the quality and high level standard that the Carhartt Brand carries. I settled on them and figured they would be the best bet. Unfortunately they didn't deliver upon my first impression and for the price I couldn't warrant keeping them to test them long term. For those wondering - yes sizing does run a bit larger. You may want to size down depending on your body type. I have wider shoulders but a very narrow waist with a more athletic frame. I generally wear a men's medium but may need to push to a large depending on the shoulders/neck. With the recommendations by other reviewers I actually went down to a Small and it fit fairly well. If you are broader in the shoulders and thicker build you may get away with exact sizing or may want to go a size down, if you are simply "tall" and not necessarily broad - sizing down may be the better option. The shirts are longer intentionally so keep that in mind - they can be loose or tucked in but are intended to prevent you from showing off your mid drift or back when bending/stretching.Now sizing aside, I did not care for the design and quality of the shirt at all. I ordered two of the same shirts 1 Port and 1 Peat. The shirts were made in two different countries and this was clearly apparent in the quality and materials used. The Peat seemed to be the thicker of the two, whereas the Port was considerably thinner and lighter. So I don't know how much reliability there is in claiming these are 6.75 oz shirts. As well the cotton simply felt like regular big box store "budget" cotton. There was absolutely nothing special about the cotton it felt like a generic cotton shirt and even slightly stiff/scratchy. I have shirts that have retailed only a couple bucks that have a heavier cotton and thicker material with a softer feel.Another thing that was annoying was that the design and length of the sleeves (long) caused the shirt pull/lift up and bunch in the shoulders every single time you raised your arms to parallel or higher. Seemed odd to me that a shirt designed for movement and workwear would be such a hassle to move and work in. Now this could possibly be reduced by a few washes and a fair bit of fabric softener and "breaking" the shirt in over a longer period of time but that seems counterproductive to have to breakdown a shirt that's supposed to last you a long time. Again I've had many shirts that have never done that and I've not needed to break them in.On a positive note I will say the stitching seems fairly robust, you get multiple seams along the base, neck and sleeves. And whether it's for workwear or "fashion" the Carhartt sewn on patch gives a nice premium look to the clothing.Overall, at ~55$ for 2 shirts I wouldn't personally recommend these. I'm sure their few USA made products and the quality of their products a decade prior hold up but my with my initial experience not so much. If Carhartt opens up manufacturing in the USA/Canada as opposed to importing/outsourcing labour to several countries I feel like that would improve the quality control as well as using better materials to start with. Also I don't see why they can't just size true fit and then recommend people go up a size for "increased" mobility. Calling a "large" a medium just makes it confusing and more of pain when ordering online.
