Great, but not perfect
These items themselves are very good, bright, colours are great except for purple which is a bit unsaturated however you can’t set individual panel colour in the app either set modes or static colours that can flash, you can’t set one tile to purple one pink etc. For £40 cheaper than nanoleaf you can ignore this however if you wanted this specific function it may bother you. I found it actually very easy to set them up with the app and happy with the lights themselves just the apps features let these down

Creative modular wall light
The media could not be loaded. Made of premium shade material for uniform light and powerful light transmission. These panels are not only sleek and elegant when turned off, but when they are on the brightness is brilliantly blinding, the vibrancy is excellent and the customisation is phenomenal. Via the Smart life App you can change colours, brightness, scenes and much much more. The installation requires sticky tape to be applied to rear. This is challenging as you have to ensure it cant be seen once installed. This means you have to place the pads in such a way that the next tile hides them. I recommend watching a YouTube channel to see how best to do. Once stuck I did try to remove them but was unable as the sticky tape did not come off properly. They are stuck on solid which now means I cannot take them off even if I wanted. With this in mind, make sure you are happy with location prior to installation. The setup process is crappy, buggy and shite, BUT when you get them working they are great. The app is a little temperamental and keeps losing connection. hopefully with future software updates, it may improve. I found in the end connecting to google home works better than using the Smart life App . With that you can simply speak what colour or effect you require. If you do choose this path, ensure you name your lights a simple name. Also to make any of the scenes work with voice, you have to say 'activate' I.e. 'ok google, activate northern lights'. To simply change colours, you can say 'ok google set lights to....'.This design allows you to effectively slide where you want to light up, turn your wall into a work of art. Features many monochrome modes, colorful slow-change, fast-change, monochrome flash mode, brightness adjustment mode, timing function.the LED triangle wall lights are entertaining and interesting. They allow you to create unique layouts and display your personalized smart lives. These wall lights for wall will give vivid color, bright light cycle and variable hue scheme. You can do anything you want with them. Rhythm mode is working great too. It catches sound really good. And it's up to beat. It works great with Alexa, and also can trigger scenes, not just change colors. So yes they are expensive. And no, I would not buy these if you are not finished with your gaming room / media area. But if you have already got the ideal room, these will be an excellent addition and one of the best purchases you'll make. The pictures and videos don't do them justice, they are fantastic. Overall it is expensive item, But it is worth the price.

Spectacular when installed
I cannot pretend that these are quick or easy to install - it is tricky. They come with templates so you can work out your best design, bearing in mind that they do have to be powered so one end of your display does need to be near a power source. Having worked out how you want them, you then have to stick them to the wall. That is harder than it sounds if you want a neat job. Once up they feel pretty solid - certainly I cannot see that you would be changing it. Then there is the connecting to the app. I used Smart life as I already had that and had the skill installed for Alexa. That didn't work first time, but after a few goes it was fine. It has not been plain sailing in terms of connction thereafter either - but maybe that is my phone? Probably easiuer to programme some scenes and use Alexa to change. I haven't really tried the music module yet - but I can see the appeal. These are now reasonable value at around 95 quid after discount. Certainly there are cheaper versions of these - but these lights are bright and there is plenty of them. They do have a wow factor and I can see teenagers being really pleased. I am in my second youth, so I am quite pleased too. There are some useful videos to watch re the installation. Certainly forward plan your design and use the templates.

Light panels are bright, modular and, work great!
The packaging and way these are packaged tell that there is a lot of care that went into these panels, they are very well made, well thought out design and have a modular construction and can be placed in many configurations. All that is required is that the power can be inserted into one of the panels, any one will do, and the control remote plugged into the same panel if possible, to best see the trailing effect of some of the light patterns. The colours are bright and the kit has all you need included to wall mount them, as it is provided with 30 double sided strips, with tabs for removal at a later date (just like command strips) there are also connector boards approx. 1 inch in length that go between the previous and next panels, ensure that the board is correctly mounted the correct way around between each of the panels, as they do have PRE and NEXT printed on them. Start with NEXT and work your way creating the pattern you want with the previous board having the PRE side inserted, and the next panel having the NEXT part in it.The range of colours and patterns re excellent, rainbow effect is my favourite and is just mesmerising to look at.Connects to smart home devices such as Alexa and controlled via the app also (i used Tuya but there are some others) and this was connected easily. There are paper cut-outs in the packaging that separate each panel, which I'm sure was just to prevent scratches of each panel, but i used them as a template for the panels on the wall using blutack, to see what pattern i wanted and where it would be placed, before deciding the location and position first, as it saved trying to judge where i wanted to mount them blindly. This technique worked great and i made allowances for where i wanted the cable input and remote position also.It comes with approx. 2m input cable and a well produced adaptor with UK pins that clip on to it and is removable and replaceable with alternate fitting for other supplies (not included)I love the compete set and i assume that more panels could be possible mounted if the supply was appropriate, but as it is a 36w supply, each panel must be approx. 4 watts each in full brightness. My only slight critique is that some of the led beams are slightly more visible from the corners of the panels and the wash of light at full brightness there are very very slight dark spots in some places, but hardly noticeable at all and not a problem for my usage.
