My husband loved it!
My husband gets a fruit cake for Christmas from me every year. This was a value compared to others, and as I said he loved it. I'll probably stick with Jane Parker brand for next year.

Yummm
I love this fruitcake, the only one I ever eat. Not too much fruit, plenty of nuts. Just the way I like it.

Fruitcake was good but pecans on top were dry
The fruitcake itself is very good, but the pecans on top are dry and “leathery.”

Not a tasty cake - don't recommend purchasing
I would not recommend buying this cake. It was very gooey, had mostly raisins in it rather than the normal candied fruit mix and lacked flavor. I bought it for my 91 year old Mom, who had been craving fruitcake, and she said it was the worst cake she'd eaten in her 91 years. We threw the cake away after having just one slice out of it. Needless to say, the cake was a huge disappointment and a waste of money.

Not so much…
My mother made fruitcake every Christmas so I may be harder to please than most as I know what the real thing is like. I am still searching for a fruitcake that lives up to my mom’s. This fruitcake (IMO) was too sweet and “cakey”. Add that to already candied fruit, and that’s a lot of sweet. The hunt continues.
