Would buy again. Effective. Documentation needs work.
So I'm completely a luddite with all things related to personal grooming. I got this one thing - reducing of hair in area between my legs - yes, that area.First note - I really wanted some in depth, specific guidance on the best way to use this device. The instructions included are utterly useless. It's even hard to find much on the internet. What I've learned from experience:If you're thinking you're going to just one the box and and hour later be hair free - think again. This is a process. The first time you use it on sensitive areas - prepare yourself - it's gonna hurt. It's like a very very brief, instantaneous flash of pain. There is no lingering pain or discomfort afterwards. It does actually work - even on thick, burly hair - but I am light-skinned which is key. I use the highest setting as lower setting do nothing.I do a treatment session on the whole area. It takes about 5 minutes. Really, after session one, nothing much happens. 3-5 days later, you do it again. 5 more days, again. Then you START to see some results. The hairs are clearly growing more slowly. But I am far from hair free after 3 weeks of this, but the hair is clearly getting less dense and less thick. There's no irritation or discoloration of the area.I do not look foward to doing this. Understand that it is actually painful. But...Im confident that in a month the hair will be nearly gone.I don't know what happens after that. Im not gonna keep doing this every 5 days, but we'll see how often I need maintenence treatment once it's gone.I am overall just pleased that it actually works. Shaving is way too irritating and awkward for me. This is much easier. If documentation were better, would have given 5 stars. Also, not clear on how to order replacement bulbs. But the one bulb it came with seems to last a very very long time.

Honest opinion about this Machine!
My first ever review even though I buy a lot of stuff on amazon but this one worth writing! I am a Certified skin care specialist and have worked over 7 years with different laser machines in a professional industries but never got a chance to do my own laser as I always been booked with clients. now, hunting for a good laser home kit that I can use.Started using this machine past 11 month & suddenly stopped working BUT as they have a very good customer service, they have replaced my machine and going to try it again!!! I have used it every week at the beginning with all 3 lights then reduced it to twice a month but apparently was not enough and going to try it all over again.Make sure you are a good candidate for IPL hair removal which means you have to have fair skin with dark hair. It won't work on blond or grey hair at all because there is no pigment in hair follicle to get burnt by the light pulse. The AC light works wonder, it has diminished my acne around my chin and neck after 2-3 session. It hurts a bit but not a lingering pain.I have used the SR only 4 times before my wedding and didn’t see any different on my skin texture or pore sizes but I am willing to try again vigorously to see what happens. Will update you on that.In total is a good machine to try but you have to be patient with it. You cannot see result in 1-3 sessions. you have to stick with it and do it couple of times a week at the beginning. If you need more info, let me know.Hope this is helpful.

Works well for hair removal/ reducution
I purchased this item a while ago and waited to review until it had been tried a while. It does remove or reduce hair. I've used it primarily on my bikini line and there are spots that hair no longer grows, so that's a win. On the down side the treatment area is small and you have to go over each area three times, I use the highest setting for most of my bikini line, but for the most tender spots I go down one setting. The light pulse does hurt on the highest setting, but that is how you get the best results. I tried a low setting at first and noticed hair getting thinner, but not gone. I don't have much patience for thing over small areas over and over again so my hair removal is slow going, but it does work. Over all I am happy with my purchase and this item, while taking longer than a professional treatment, is much more affordable.

It works
Super easy to use. You do have to be consistent for it to work. I tested first at a level 2, went to level 3 and then after 3 weeks upped to level 4. It did leave burn marks on my legs at level 4. The burn marks did go away and I have been consistently using level 3 just fine. The hair that does come back is way less and way finer.

I have PCOS
I have PCOS and have been struggling with male pattern hair growth for years. I've been confining myself to my house if I haven't shaved my face or arms that day. yes I have to use a mens electric shaver on my face daily. with this my hair growth has slowed so far and I have only used it a couple of weeks. there are little spots that actually have no hair now. im so excited to keep using it. I started off with just a level 3, thought that was almost unbearable. But now I am doing level 4 and it seems like the same as the level 3. it just feels like a warm rubber band popping over and over. it says to wear the sunglasses. DO it. its bright. you can tell that it only gets the spot that the bulb actually hits not the full square, so make sure you only move tiny bits at a time. it takes about 7 seconds (light flashes) between each pop. so you put it flush to your face, pull the trigger, it pops, 7 flashes, then it turns green when its ready again for you to pull the trigger. I've used this on my lip, chin, cheeks, near my ear, neck (all of it from my chin down/ from left to right), and my chest. it only does a certain amount of flashes before the bulb needs replacing but it will be a ton of flashes before you need a new one. like 399k flashes. it counts each flash on the screen for you.
