Works well
Solid, stable. I’ve now had the rings for over two years in my stove. . The one I use all the time discolored just slightly, but they are excellent. I can now brew cappuccino or smaller items in my large gas stove.

A great, practical, little gadget
Every once in a while someone solves a bothersome problem with a simple but brilliant solution.This little spanner will fill in the gap on your stove hob, that your espresso maker or othertiny diameter pot would normally not be able to utilize. I first found this great, little gadget ona trip to Rome amongst the coffee making contraptions, in a tiny, houseware shop. As I've longago mislaid mine, I was delighted to recently find out it's available on amazon, as well. I can finallyuse my Bialetti one cup espresso maker again.

Solid wire construction
This is more solid than the stamped metal versions which tend to have adequate but thin sheet metal. Would be nice to have a larger version as well.

Viva il trivet!!
Ordered this nifty little item and i love it!!! prior to its arrival both my husband and i had already knocked over our coffee makers a couple of times too many, this is real savior, it sits on top of the stove burner and reduces its size, so my coffee makers sits on the burner to perfection without toppling over! it also came in a packet of two, which is handy, we are now practically guaranteed not to have any spills for years! Great product, exactly what i was expecting!!!

Flimsy, poorly made
Turns black and breaks from first use. At first I thought well 1 of 2 is defective… so fine. Then the second one did the same on second use. Cheaply made. I would not recommend this product. How about they put some real steel into it?

Solid and Works As Expected
Price paid: $8.50. I bought this reducer because I have an espresso pot that is too small to stand on its own on my stove's burner grates. It does not flex or bend when you place things on it, so nothing wobbles. I got two for what I paid so I think this is a good value.

Franchement, je lis un des commentaires et je suis atterré!Va -t-on se priver d'avocats ou de pamplemousses parce qu'ils viennent d'Israël? Leurs avocats sont les meilleurs . Je ne suis jamais allé dans ce pays, mais ce sont des gens entreprenants et courageux . Eux, au moins, bossent.Revenons- en à ces petits articles qui ne méritent en rien l'ostracisme dont ils font l'objet; ils sont solides, pratiques, d'un bon rapport qualité -prix.Pour ma part, je m'en sers pour un usage peu banal; je les pose sur le gaz quand je finis de cuire à la flamme mes chapatis (petits pains indiens) et ça me permet d'en mettre un autre dans la poêle pendant que l'autre gonfle et dore directement sur la petite flamme. Très bien!

Not quite silver
As soon as a flame is lit under this flame reducer the silver coating burns right off and it become black. Otherwise it works just fine.
