PIONEERTS-A1677S A-Series 6.5" 3-Way Coaxial 320 Watts Peak Power Car Audio Speakers

I bought these to replace the old, original speakers in my car. These fit easily in the doors with the help of the mounting hardware from the factory speakers. The sound better than the factory speakers and they did not break the bank on cost.

Solid speakers. Installation was a breeze. Pioneer provides brackets/screws/wires. Be careful connecting to the speaker terminals because it's a tight fit. I used a dab of dielectric grease.

Great sound

Installed four of these speakers in my 2001 Avalon. I'll be installing an amp soon, so I had to put better speakers in, since the stockers are only rated at 20 watts and they're over 20 years old. Good thing I did, too, since two of the four stock speakers already had the beginnings of stress tears in the paper cones.Back around Thanksgiving of '22 I picked up two pairs of these Pioneer TS-A1677S's here Amazon for a pretty good deal (I think they were $48 a pair + tax, shipped). The Avalon takes an odd size (6.75"), and these even came with universal brackets to fit cars like the Avalon. Unfortunately, the term "universal" might as well be "one size fits most", but at least they fit the nearly fit the rear doors perfectly (I only had to drill one hole). I was able to reuse the stock speakers mounts in the front doors and used a little closed cell 3/8" weather stripping to seal up between the speakers/brackets and brackets/doors.I'll be installing the amps and subs soon, but just the new speakers alone made an amazing difference! The stockers had great bass, considering their low power handling, but they were muddy on the mids and highs (even with component tweeters up front). The Pioneers are comparable on bass, all be it may be a bit tight, but the mids and highs are excellent! Sounds like a concert hall in the car now, compared to before. I highly recommend these speakers for an upgrade over stock speakers.

I have these on a PPI amp that has multiple crossovers on it and let me tell you they sound great for what I paid for them.. they even will take the thump given by this amp which I have toned down so I can make them a wee bit louder and boy I am not disappointed.. I highly recommend them even if you don't have a crossover they sound great..

If I were to install these speakers again…I would solder the connectors to the speakers as they’re pretty weak and will break when attaching the adapter wiring. I broke the negative connector on the speaker and the positive bent. I was lost for time so next time when I upgrade, I will take the time to solder these connections. Speakers sound better than factory hit that’s the best it’ll be.

Buen sonido

I purchased a used RAM Promaster and it did not sound good at all, the speakers in the front doors are the worst I have seen in my life. Not sure what the engineers at RAM were thinking. Or the bean counters tried to save 50cents. Immediately, I ordered these speakers to replace those junk. These Pioneer come with the plastic adapters which make installation a breeze. The stereo now sound wayyyyyyyy better. Good value for the money. Highly recommended.

Buen sonido. No las tengo con ampli por lo que no puedo sacarles todo su potencial y escuchar si hay distorsiones o no.
