Nice and bright when the power is reset (IE when a timer clicks off and on) the function defaults back to cycling through all 8Having the functions is worthless if you have to reset it to the one you want every day

This is actually only 66ft of lights with a power line of 17ft. Amounting to 83ft total.

**UPDATED REVIEWNOT EVEN A MONTH and both sets quit working.. very disappointedI received 2 sets in the mail today and I wanted to try them out immediately. They're perfect! I absolutely love them and am hoping to purchase some for Christmas also.

The look of the lights were nice - small but bright. The issues I have with them are two things. First, you have different choices you can program - what color, if they flash, etc. However, once they’re turned off, it resets and your selection is gone. I set mine up on timers which each time they’d turn on, it was back to the original cycle. I ended up not bothering with my original choice. My other issue is that even though they can be hooked together with their particular brand, it is not a regular 2-prong plug. In the past, I’ve used the end of my string lights to plug additional decorations in and wasn’t able to due to this. Overall, if you’re ok with just the string of lights and having to reset the program, it’s not too bad a price as they look nice but I will look for another option in the future.

Each power cycle/timer turning on and off they reset to the default function which is super fast blinking. Regular steady lights are like the 6th function and you have to click through to get for regular lights every day if using for decoration lights. I get they come at a cheap price but who thinks "let's make strobe the default setting"?! Why not have the steady light function as default?

Update: it’s been 2 weeks and now it the setting won’t stay where I programmed it to. What a disappointment. Not buying from this brand again.The lights are bright, but if I had known it resets EACH time it’s turned back on, I would have never have bought this set.

I love these lights, super bright, exceeded expectations. Was able to put them on my whole front porn and down my staircase.

I do love the set - they look great on my Halloween themed tree. But Its disappointing that it didn't come with a remote and unlike other sets it doesn't retain the selected light pattern so when connected to a time - it defaults to the rotation. I think other sets which have a remote that will set the timer or light pattern. But other wise this is a nice set
