This is well built and is very warm even without the electric heatingIt's a decent size too and it's nice that two people can control it

I returned this as it has no default setting when you first plug it in. I was hoping to use smart plugs on each power supply, but this doesn't work with this particular blanket as there is no default program, and needs manually pressing. Otherwise, it's a good, comfy, quality blanket that heats up quickly.

Our Monhouse Electric Blanket is fantastic since we bought it over a year ago. Unfortunately a month ago, one of the controllers failed and we were aware that the warranty guarantee had run out. We contacted them to see if there was a replacement scheme and if we could pay for a replaced controller, much to our surprise Monhouse offered to send us a replacement at no charge, as a goodwill gesture. We have now received the replacement and once again, we’re enjoying a warm and cosy bed to fall into at the end of the day.Big call out to Monhouse for their fantastic Customer Service.

I purchased this in October. Both remotes have stopped working so the blanket doesn’t get warm. This wasn’t cheap, so please don’t waste your money on this item. No support the supplier and no support from Amazon

It arrived with the box damaged but the contents were left undamaged. Having said that, this blanket fits my bed perfectly. Never had one that did before. My cat loves it too. She can feel the warmth righ at the foot of the bed. I suffer with really cold feet and lower limbs. But I found that having the heat on just for the feet when you're sitting up, reading or watching tv, isn't any good. Your feet are too far away from the heat. So, I have BOTH Feet and Body heat switched on. This works perfectly. I have them both on '9' - for about an hour. This includes time taken getting ready for bed. There's one small drawback. And this is:The nylon cord ties. They leave indentations in a memory foam mattress - which I have.What would work better - and make it easier and quicker to put on and take off, is to use a 2 -3cm wide, elasticated tape, sewn onto the blanket in a loop. So, all you would have to do is to loop it over the mattress. Especially at the foot and head end. There aren't any tabs there right now. And this blanket needs them, I feel. The blanket develops one or two wrinkles at the head end, where the blanket slips each time that you get in and out. It's not a great problem. I just reach under and give it a little tug every morning. But I will, eventually, sew my own tabs on and slip a length of tape through them. I like this blanket too much for this to become an unsolvable problem.

I am a bit disappointed it is easy to set the programs but it only seems to have one heat no matter what number you choose .

After fighting against getting an electric blanket for yeeeeeeeears, i finally succumbed.I wanted something dual zone because my partner and i have opposite requirements..... and this was a total added bonus to have quad zones so i can just warm my feet!Super easy to use..... just switch it on (separate controllers each side), select body/feet and how long you want it on for !Lovely warm fleece material sits perfectly beneath the bottom sheet, i havent had to attach the tie strings, it hasnt moved so far.LOVE IT
