Bought these to repair a Sharp microwave where the old wave guide cover had burned out in one spot from either grease or wax and was occasionally causing sparking. I removed the old, damaged shield and cut the outline from the old one directly onto the new one with an exacto knife, then with a little pressure, the cut snapped off perfectly clean. Then I used the plastic tabs to install the new one and the cover works like new!

Easy to cut to the size I needed. I used my old one as a template. Works as expected. Had no idea this was something you could replace or even needed, until I needed it! Old one had some splattered food on the edge of it that I didn't notice until I was using it and it started to spark and smoke! I thought the microwave was broken. Was easily able to remove old one which was charred and replace with this. Good quality and does the job.
