Great reference guide
With 836 pages this book is not designed to be read front to back. It's a reference book. Copyright is 2022. Ciprian is funny at times and makes learning fun and easy. At 74 and new to Windows 11 (from Windows 7) I'm about as non geeky as you can get . He doesn't focus on a lot of technical jargon. There is a wealth of information and a great index to find it. It starts with very basic stuff for true Windows 11 beginner. Shows you how to set up multiple emails, virus protection, problems you are likely to encounter. I was especially interested in setting up files and folders and pictures. I never learned how to organize these before. He also maintains a blog to keep you up to date on changes since this was published. There are a lot of books on Windows 11 and I think this is the most complete and best. Be sure to read the introduction !

Everything you need to know about Windows 11
While overall this book is very informative and useful to help understanding Windows 11, I think that some things have been changed in the Windows 11 version as published by Microsoft, that was unknown to the author when he wrote and published this book. The majority of the book is useful so overall I am pleased to have invested in it.

Win 11 for Dummies.
Having never used Win 11 before, this book that I first got at the library to see if I should buy a copy sold me. The author has done a great job of presenting this topic. Though several years old it is still a good book to get started with.I would wonder if this is a print-on-demand book because the Library copy had better paper and darker text and images. Some that were pretty faded out.

If you hate windows...This is for you...
I loved Win 7 but felt downgraded by having to get Win 11. I buy my computers from Velocity Micro so they don't have any bloatware on them...But don't worry Win 11 has incorporated all the bloatware and made it organic to Win11. This book took me about a month to go through but it was worth it because it helped my dodge all the hassles Microsoft has created for users to deal with under the moniker "improving the user experience." Also if you have older MS software don't pitch it because if you like it you can use it. MS doesn't like that. They want you to pay out the nose for a subscription for lots of crap you don't want or need. (Don't even get me started on Quicken). There are so many settings on Win 11....Most you'll never use or access, but the book will put you on the right course for what's important and demystify all the crap. I was kind of leery about buying this book because there are so many of them out there and the quality is uneven, but this was a good investment...

Good index
At last, a book that has a usable index. I'm so tired of so called bibles that can call a feature by it's name. I got one that couldn't even refer to a screenshot, screen capture, or PRTSCR. I finally found it in another chapter about the desktop, but absolutely nothing in the index. This book has some good stuff about securing windows and the computer that some otherr books just gloss over. While one would have to take a course in MS Windows security, this book gives the basics of securing the OS and establishing privacy rules that work.Good book.
