I bought this material to replace the fabric on my kitchen chairs. It is rather expensive, but, it is thick and durable to last along time.

This upholstery fabric turned a set of 20+ year old dining chairs once covered in dingy eggshell fabric into conservation pieces. With newly painted walls picking up the lightest color in the fabric and the area rug, it's a new room. The gentleman who reupholstered the chairs had no issues working with the fabric and did an excellent job covering 8 chairs with 4 yards. One of the pics shows the smoothness on curves and points. I purchased 8 yards which of course was too much.
