Guitar Finishing Kit - Cherry Flamenco

Overall I like these kits. They are easy to use. Whereas The spray on type finishes need special rooms and equipment.I don’t know a lot about guitar finishing. These are good kits to learn with. I’ve used these kits 4 times. That should say a lot.The instructions could be more detailed. if you follow them blindly you wind up with left over material that goes to waste. Use all of it.

Upon opening the packaging, I noticed split/broken caps on every bottle of this multi-part finish. The inside of the box (and instructions and enclosed gloves) had dye leaking throughout. The "Top Coat XGloss with No Ageing", having a split top exposing it to air, was solidified in the bottle. I contacted the company from which it was purchased to no avail. They did not respond, even after multiple attempts to resolve this issue. I even contacted the manufacturer in the UK, and offered to purchase a replacement Top Coat. They refused, as the original purchase was made through Amazon and a secondary source. There was not adequate dye left (due to spillage) to complete the job, and no usable top coat even if I could have completed the job. Just a modicum of customer service would have gone a very long way.

I had leaks and cracked lids on 2/3 bottles in the finishing kit.I even went so far as to try to bring in the maker in the U.K.I got a little bit of lip service and then they totally ghosted on me.AVOID!
