DuraBlue Aerosol Kit (Polished Blue Black)

This product adheres very well but on a lever action rifle you cannot get the barrel bands back on without scratching the barrel. Now I have to strip the barrel again and use regular bluing.

Instruction were not very clear. Found better instructions on the internet that worked. Had to buy a second can to. Straighten outThe mess I made with the first can.

Prepped my gun and applied it like the instructions said and waited two weeks to cure before reassembling the gun. It chips and peels terribly and looks worse than before. It looks alright from a distance but up close it's slightly better than shiny spray paint. Wish I would've never bothered with this and had just gone straight to bluing.

Works great but prep is everything

Was not happy with end result. The product has a thickness to it after a few coats. Not great for tight tolerances. Also scratches easy. More like a paint than actual gun blue

I love this stuff.I have bought 3 times and have loved finished look.first time used 2 much but got hang of it now no more over spraying

Excellent product. Would recommend this highly. The only drawback is it is a somewhat thick coating so use caution on any parts that have low tolerance. I tried a few other types of home blue kits but found this the best bang for the buck
