Great Tyres
Tyres are a very personal and evocative subject. Everyone has their opinion, and it really is hit or miss as to whether you find a particular tyre good or not.Maxxis make good tyres, I've ridden on their tyres before. I usually use Specialized tyres for choice and cost as I don't really like paying £40+. I chose the High Rollers as I wanted to try something different. I visited the Maxxis site to get an idea of the types of tyre they offer and the High Roller fitted the bill. They are easy to fit to the rim (I run them tubeless) and they are pretty sturdy tyres. If I'm honest they are the best, most confidence-inspiring tyres I've fitted to my bike. They roll well and I've had plenty of grip in the dusty corners we've had in the UK over the last few weeks. I've picked up a lot of personal bests on more technical terrain and I'm really enjoying how my bike feels. This is my personal opinion, I ride forest singletrack and natural stone, rocky, steep trails in the Peak District too.

I received a used tyre with thorns in it
The tyre I recieved had clearly been used on another bike. See pics of a thorn in it (1 of 3) and old sealant, as well as old trail dust on the bead. Disappointed considering this came from Maxxis direct.

A great mud tyre
It’s brilliant in the British Mud.

Best MTB tyre I’ve bought to date!
Got on front - good alround grip - when needed will replace rear with same tyre. Slight increase on road noise.
