This was my first time to put grommets in a plastic sheet, and it was so easy! They're basic plastic, maybe not suited for a more serious project than putting a "curtain" on the porch, but PERFECT for honey-do's.One caveat: use a rubber mallet if you can't snap in with your hands (I needed only hands on most.), and put on a firm surface with some padding--like a carpeted floor--and put a hand towel between grommet and mallet. It's plastic, it can crack. MAKE SURE YOU MATCH A TOP WITH A BOTTOM--thete is a notch in one. If not, you'll either break it or toss it, thinking it's defective. (says this person who did that before realizing)

Best solution anywhere
I have researched buying grommets and grommet tool for this size curtains for my outdoor patio. The cost was not worth it. These were very easy to use and are holding up great. Reasonable price and money left over for the next project.
