This product may have positive aspects, but they werre all cancelled out by the terrible smell. I was actually upset to get it on my clothing. If you're paying $10 for a stick of deodorant it shouldn't smell so awful.

I was looking for a deodorant that can handle the changes my body is going through due to menopause. (The BO was the most surprising thing.) I’ve been trying clinical protection, chemicals, etc and nothing works right. Thought I’d try lume cuz it was highly rated and looks appealing. As soon as I got it, the smell literally made me gag. It makes my stomach turn. I showed it to my friend and fiancé and they both think the smell is disgusting. The packaging is great, but I will never wear this on my body.

I have used the prescription strength deodorants for a couple years now, it seems like my body gets used to a scent and then it stops working. So I’ve rotated. Then I figured maybe my body needs more natural. So I tried to use the charcoals based. It worked for maybe a week, then the issue started again. I’ve always seen the Lume advertisement and wanted to try it! So I ordered from Amazon when I got the email it was available!! Here’s my review…Vanilla is my favorite scent for any type of body spray/perfume for me, so I figured I would at least like it. NOPE!! It was the worst. I couldn’t wear it for a full 24hrs before I had to shower to remove the smell.Tangerine- was like my BO had BO. I usually apply deodorant to the groin and under breasts to help with chafing, but I could smell the deodorant from under my breasts and it was awe full. It made me so self conscious that people could smell how bad I smelled. Lavender sage was the only one I ended up tolerating and using. But even using this one, I ended up going back to deodorant for my chafing areas.NONE of them lasted a full 24hr, let alone the advertised hours. I was lucky to make it to bed time before needing to reapply. I shower usually every other day….but the deodorant didn’t last. I even tried washing my pits every evening so it could be a fresh start.

I can truly say this product is better than advertised. I am a heavy person and have problems with odor underneath my breasts and the my stomach fat. So.....I tested this product to see if it really works. It does! I went 3 days and no odor, so I tested it again and went 4 days and no odor. In the past after a shower it was less than 24 hours before I had odor in these places. This is the best product I have ever used and so very pleased I found this advertised and gave it a try. Best thing I ever did.

Love this product. Love the light scents. It works for me everywhere except my armpits IF I have armpit hair. As SOON AS the hair grows back, the odor is stronger than lume and I have to use deodorant. But lume is fantastic and works on my undercarriage. Girls! I use it on my buttcrack to stay fresh especially during my cycle. After the shower, I dry off, rub a swipe of product on and I’m fresh for hoursssss back there no matter what I’m doing. I use it between my boobs and it’s perfect. My armpits are on a completely different frequency. Lol

I decided to try Lume because I hate the way my old deodorant cakes under my arms and embeds into my clothing. White clothing turns yellow and is quickly ruined. Darker clothes show the white residue as it has worked completely into the fabric. By the end of the day, a weird funk develops that's like a mixture of sweat and deodorant that's rather off-putting.Lume does last the full day, but I wouldn't say it lasts 72 hours as advertised. The performance is satisfactory and it seems to solve the caking issue. The end of the day funk is less noticeable. So far it's a win.My only complaint is the smell. There's a weird undertone that is a bit repulsive. The first time I tried it, I had to wash it off as the smell wouldn't go away. The second time I tried it, I used very little product. Drawing up maybe one millimeter of product. No more. The strange smell was much less noticeable and even went away fairly quickly. It still prevented body odor for a full day. So I think the trick to avoiding the underlying odor of, I am assuming, the active ingredient is to use very little product.Ideally, we wouldn't have to deal with that smell at all. The product could use some improvement as a result.

Lume works great!! I don’t use any other deodorant now. The smell is ok. It dissipates quickly which is good. Works well on my sensitive skin, no mess or residue. Worth the money in my opinion!! I would recommend!

I started using this deodorant for my teen boys after a friend of mine recommended it and it works so well. I’ve been buying it ever since. I also like that I can get it faster on Amazon and still get the same quality.
