A nice clock if you don't mind buying a ton of batteries
I got this for my 7-year-old as he was wanting to try and wake up on his own for the last month of school. Let me just say I love most everything about the display, size, and such. However, with all the good there are some cons as well. First, off batteries... we have had this clock since March and have had to replace the batteries over 5 times already. In the night light option, the light stays on all night long instead of fading out after so long. This alarm clock would be better for camping and such if you were only using it for a few nights with the night light on. I would love to see this type that you could plug in as I would buy it again in a heartbeat! The other thing is the alarms... It has some odd choices of kid's songs and would be better if it just had a normal alarm with beeps.

The batteries run out really really fast like once a week.
It is bright and my kids liked the stars feature but it was hard to see even with just their night light on. Also the batteries run out super fast, and every time the batteries die you have to reprogram the clock and alarm.

Very cheap plastic
This only lasted about a week. It was very flimsy and broke easily. There was already a broken piece of plastic inside the dome when we bought it and after a week of gentle use it fell of a shelf and was broken for good.

Nice for the price
I do wish it was a little bit brighter and a little bit bigger but it’s definitely worth the money spent. I bought it as a night light and my son is excited to start using the alarm.

Not for young kids
The light is bright, and it projects nice star shapes on the ceiling. This is not for young kids who may drop, play with, or be rough in any way with the light. The batteries can come loose easily, the display has already broken on ours, and it’s biggest drawback is that the light stays on until you manually turn it off. It would be nice if it auto shut off at a half an hour or so.
