Length 2 - Quick Wrap Cover-up That Multitasks as The Perfect Travel/Summer Skirt

A bit less expensive than on ripskirt site. Fabric is lightweight and nice, compared to other brands. The Velcro is in big strips, so it can be adjusted as needed.

After I bought one in my size (S) and it was so comfortable to wear I gifted one to my sister. She loves it as much as I do. You can wear it with or without leggings. And especially with this pattern there a so many different tops you can wear it with. Upgrade it with a blouse for a night out or wear your bikini with it at the beach.

I love RipSkirts so much that I have purchased three of them in the last month. I was aware from browsing on the RipsSkirt website that although their newer skirts all have pockets, they did move some of their older skirts to Amazon & that some of them would be (gasp!) without pockets. So it's on me for not reading the fine print in the Amazon ad for this skirt. Now I understand that there are some folks who actually prefer to not have pockets on their RipSkirts (I know, right?!?). But if pockets are important to you, you should read the descriptions more carefully than I did. Otherwise, this is a great skirt for all the reasons that I love RipSkirts: the print is pretty, the fit is flattering, the material is comfortable & goes through the wash without drinking

I'm a global nomad, and I LOVE this skirt for it's lovely colors - which is great for matching with many tops! It's so easy to put on and take off with the velcro fastening. DON'T THROW AWAY the extra piece of velcro in the little zip-lock bag attached to the skirt when it arrives. This is to cover any extra 'male' side of the waist fastening if you are between sizes. (It protects your top from catching on the velcro hooks if you have excess exposed). I like it so much, that I ordered another (length 3, different design) skirt, because I see the potential for mixing and matching my overall wardrobe.However, I gave 4 stars for two reasons: because there were long unfinished threads on one of the kick-pleats at the back. These I was able to thread back through with a needle and finish.The other is because I'm concerned about the fact that I have not yet been able to remove the straight creases from when the skirt arrived in it's package. I've washed and line-dried it, and worn, but they're still there. The instructions are not clear as to whether I can iron the skirt (and try to remove the creases). I'm hoping a rep from RipSkirt can advise, or if anyone can share their experience?

I love this skirt. Has some adjustment in the waist, flattering style, doesn’t wrinkle and it dries fast. It washed nicely, too.(I air dried it.). It goes with so many colors. My new favorite.

Over a year ago, I purchased this black one, length 2, xs, when my father died, as a regular skirt. I have worn it almost continuously, receiving compliments on it always. It drapes beautifully. It wears 'like iron'. It wraps instantly, and closes instantly, thanks to the velcro closings. In the winter I wear footless tights with it, and in the summer, bare legged. With tights and without, the drape is gorgeous. It seems to be stain proof, too, as, it still looks great, after wearing it continuously for almost a year.Subsequently, because I have developed a frozen shoulder, and so am running on one working shoulder, I have found this skirt is the only garment I have that I can get into and out of with ease, and so, when I saw more versions introduced, I have purchased them as they came on the market. I purchased the Blue Curacao, xs length 2, then the Islander Indigo, also xs, length 2, and finally the Islander Grey, all in xs length 2. I have been delighted with all of them, and have received unsolicited compliments from family & friends. The Blue Curacao is the most lovely shade of aqua for the summer, and for that particular one, I always receive RAVE OH MY how Gorgeous! compliments, it really is a lovely shade. I try not to wear it too much, as, it really is a rather special color. The Islander Indigo is also gorgeous, a lovely, sophisticated design/color combination. The inside is white, as, it is a printed design. Ditto the Islander Grey, but it is less of a contrast, so, not really noticeable.The merchant, RipSkirt Hawaii owner is lovely to do business with. I had an issue with sizing with the Islander Grey, and I contacted her directly. She understood right away, she offered sensible solutions right away, she took care of everything instantly and sweetly, going way beyond what I sought. Not only did she have a great attitude, but she was smart, perceptive, kind, and most importantly, helpful Truly a pleasurable interaction. I was impressed. I do not see any competition for this design skirt, with this drape and fabric. I have spent months and months looking (I am looking for skirts with pockets for my wallet and cell phone...) and have found nothing, even disregarding the pocket issue. And so I am hoping RipSkirt Hawaii will continue to add new, sophisticated yet also 'beachy' fabrics; one of these days maybe even a larger pocket, for my cell phone and wallet. In the mean time, the longer length RipSkirt has been a godsend to me, with my frozen shoulder. It is nice to receive unsolicited compliments on how one looks, and what one is wearing! Do not think twice about ordering this skirt. It is perfect! It sits higher up on the waist for me than it shows in the picture so it's a couple inches above the knee I'm a dress size 12 or 14 and the large was perfect and the Velcro tabs adjustable so you don't have to worry about it coming in a perfect fit, you just adjust yourself! Material is very nice, I think I'll be ordering another!

As many others have indicated, this skirt really is your perfect beach/vacation/cruise skirt. It is sleek and simple, and its wraparound style serves a variation in sizing. I'm a size US8, and the medium fit me really well. I love how it doesn't wrinkle in your suitcase. Its material is kind of like 'board short' material, so it dries really quickly. I hesitated because it's on the expensive side, but once this RipSkirt was in my wardrobe, I didn't regret buying it for a second. I'll be looking at other colours for upcoming vacations (I just bought it in plain black).

This is a great $5 skirt. I paid the money because I was leaving on vacation and needed something quickly. But seriously for $50 plus dollars there is maybe a dollar's worth of fabric and two pieces of Velcro.My advice... shop around to find better value for your hard earned dollars.

Love it! It fits well and is just the right length, falling just above the knee. There is also enough wraparound so you don’t have to worry that it will fall open and be too revealing. It washes and dries easily, doesn’t wrinkle and folds up very small, so it’s perfect for travel. I also wear it cycling over those unflattering biking shorts. Just make sure you close the Velcro tabs when you throw it in the washer or everything will stick to it. Really, this is a perfect, multifunctional little skirt.

This skirt is a travel must and if they get amazon pricing on other colors, I will buy more! I travel overseas with a back pack and this skirt will always be the first item i throw in. Great fit, packs nice and small and so functional...pretty too.
