I've used a few different versions of these LoraTap remote controlled outlets for different projects and they do not disappoint. Long range and no complicated pairing procedures, hubs, WiFi, or "app" requirements... no nonsense. I've paired multiple remotes with single outlets, multiple outlets with single remotes, and multiple outlets with multiple remotes. I've used them in a sound booth to control powered speakers mounted up high near the stage and I've used them to control lighting strips in a closet.

I saw this product on one of those "Amazon Must Have" videos and thought it would be a solution for turning the light on from a safe distance in our creepy basement! The house was built in the early 1880s and there are NO switches on our side (duplex). Walking the length of a dark basement to manually turn on a gooseneck standing light placed in the corner was never an option for me, so I've kept the light on 24/7 for 2 YEARS and replaced each of the 5 bulbs every 1-2 months since. Obviously that has been a waste of money and electricity--but tbh a small price to pay for being able to see the basement boogeyman before he sees me. :)Anyway, the switch! It worked right out of the box without any set up. I love that the signal works without wifi (I had tried a smart plug long before this--way too far from our router), I don't need to use my phone to pull up an app whilst carrying baskets of laundry, and the remote can go with me so I have the extra comfort that my fiancé can't prank me by turning the light off when I'm ass up digging for the lonely sock at the bottom of the washing machine. The magnetic feature is also handy! We didn't even need to install the remote housing to a wall because out deep freezer is right outside the basement door. The magnet attached with a strong connection and the remote seems to fit snuggly. Totally recommend!

I have 4 of them at this point and they all work great.They come with a wall mount where you can snap the clicker to, and you can either install the wall mount with adhesive or the include screws (comes with anchors). It also comes with caps to cover the screws so the wall plate looks nice and clean.It also comes with a lanyard to attach to the clicker if you want to carry it around with you.Surprising amount of hardware comes with these things and the price is just right.In terms of range, don't expect to walk around the house and be able to turn on the remote. On occasion it'll have trouble connecting, but it's a rarity. Battery life in the remote has been great as well.My only gripe is the wall plug is pretty bulky, and would get in the way if you had two big things to plug into an outlet.Otherwise, like I said, I have 4 of these, and will be buying a 5th when I'm done typing this review!

His plug and switch works great I have it in the bedroom to run my lamps in there and it works out just great I can walk around with the remote or set it by the bed

I love this product. It is a cute and techy convo starter as when people notice its different than the switch next to it, they inquire like that's different what's that...then the fun starts as it's easy to install (I used command strips) and the clicker can pop on and off...I LOVE IT!

Purchased two sets. Super easy to set up! Just plug the base into the wall outlet, plug in the lamp or any device you want to turn on, click the remote, voila!

I bought this to use with my Christmas tree so that I didn’t have to dig behind our couch to plug it in every night. It is super easy to use and set up and my kids love the “power of the remote”! The only issue I have with it is that the plug in is so large that I can’t use the other outlet for anything. This would be AMAZING if it was a little smaller.

Saw something about this on tik tok. I bought it for the massive amount of Christmas lights I have in my house. I ended up buying 3! Easy to use and super convenient.
