Humidity Tray Indoor Plant Stand Growing Tray for Bonsai, Orchids, Other Plants Orchid Nerd

I purchased this to place under a pothos plant (in pine bark fines) in the office because the humidity is low. Watering my plant is so easy, the excess flow just goes into this tray and evaporates quickly, helping the plant. My plant won't be sitting in water, rotting, and re-absorbing salt and I don't have to empty the saucer every day -- normally, you shouldn't water a plant every day (but in summer with a bark and perlite mix, the plant needed it).The tray is easy to clean, but I haven't had any mosquito eggs or anything growing in it. The water evaporates within three days so it's not harboring pests. You can also pour hydrogen peroxide into the water in the tray to keep it cleaner. I was worried this item would be a frivolous purchase, but I'm quite happy with it. The tray works well with one large pot or many small ones; if I had MANY plants, this would become an expensive addition.

This product is very sturdy. I ordered one for my two Orchids. I liked it so well I ordered another tray for my African Violets. I have a small table in my sunroom and they are the perfect size. Each tray will accommodate two good sized Ceramic Pots and could possibly take care of three pots. I like having two trays as I find that easy to handle when filled with water instead of one large tray. I measured the trays they are 10 1/4" by 13 1/4" and elevate the plants 2". I hope the photos help. The Ceramic Pots you see are all 7" size at the top and 6" at the bottom with small built in bottoms on each Pot. They are fairly heavy pots.

Great product. It is a simple water collection tray nicely constructed from a durable quality plastic. Rather than taking trips to remove excess water, it neatly collects underneath preventing root rot. Perfect for plants that need to be misted as well (doesn't get on the hard wood floor anymore). I would recommend because my Rattlesnake Calathea is still happy. A quality product for your humidity-loving plants. 5/5 stars.

Does the job, looks clean, but it's not producing much of a change with relative humidity near the plant. More or less used as a runoff reservoir.

The HT-101 H-2 1/4' x L-13 1/2' x W-10 1/2' humidity tray that I purchased was a nice tidy size-- perfect for my two small seedling orchids planted in 2" pots and my larger orchid planted in a 3.5" pot. Although their pots were small, the plants themselves were fairly large and the tray (13-1/2" X 10-1/2 ") was able to accommodate their leaf span easily. All I had to do was place the tray where I wanted it, add some water to it to the halfway mark and place the potted plants on top of its grid.It has a simple two-piece design- the bottom tray and the grid which fits on the top of the tray. Cleaning instructions were simple, too: empty the old water, wash the tray with soap and water, then refill with fresh water. I haven't washed it yet, but upon examining how it was put together, I don't anticipate any problems when it comes time to clean it. A very nice simply-designed product.

Amazed by the thickness of this. I thought it would be a thinner plastic and the grid would be questionable. But the tub part will certainly hold up to a lot of weight on it as well as the grid system. There is no movement of sagging when filled with plants in top.Wish it came in other colors, but otherwise, would purchase again.

The jury is still out on how well this tray actually works in terms of providing humidity, since I only just received it today. However, it is obviously very well made, and arrived in perfect condition. I think it is worth the money in terms of sheer build quality, and it should also make it much less messy to mist and water my plants since the excess spray and runoff will go into the reservoir. I’m using this tray to provide humidity for an air plant and two “poinsettia” maiden hair ferns I recently purchased. I’m hoping it will help keep them happy and healthy this winter while the heat is on and the air in my house is dry. I’m very pleased with my purchase so far.
