KODAK SL25 Smart Phone Lens - White

Brought this to do roof inspection, fitted the camera on a 12 metre pole with some clamps brought from Amazon.Brilliant camera with good zoom and great WiFi range. Just tap the screen twice if the pole is swaying and then take the picture to get a clear shot.Not many functions to play around with which makes it easy to use, some pictures looked a little bright but easy to alter on the screen before taking the picture.Makes my job safer, quicker and easier. This works much better than another well known brand I had before and the WiFi range is perfect.Easy to use app and YouTube videos show you how to use it.

Works fine although too heavy for my intended use of undertaking roof surveys.

This was a replacement for Sony QX10 and QX100 lens which, after many years, gave up the ghost. You can only seem to buy second hands ones so instead I opted for the KODAK SL25 Smart Phone Lens. I find the white colour off putting. It's reasonably easy to set up and use. Although don't expect to use it for something immediate as it takes sometimes 2 attempts fiddling with the wifi connections.There is no set or manual focus on the video. The automatic focus goes off piste and you are left with an out of focus shot because of something moving across the frame (like a car). I don miss the manual focus facility of the Sony product.I was tempted to send this back. It may turn out to be useful (for limited scenes where the main subject will be the only thing to focus on).The zoom is a bit clunky. Only good for homing in on a subject before pressing record. No good for active zoom whilst filming.Be careful with the FREQUENTLY BOUGHT TOGETHER offer from Amazon. I took them up on the inclusion of a 982GB SD card. I thought brilliant ! Unfortunately, the product can only support up to 64GB. I have already complained to Amazon about grouping together incompatible accessories.I would not recommend this product. When they update with selection of focusing and manual focussing, it would be worth while. Until then, you are better off with the Sony products (if you can get a new one at a reasonable price).

Product wouldn’t charge and hold charge, rang the customer service number not their product ( a Kodak product is not a Kodak product apparently! Who knew!)Had to email another customer service department and the response was email someone else. Still no response and we are waiting for yet another reply.

I use this camera in conjunction with a extendable pole. I'm able to attach to the pole and use it to survey roofs. The wifi connection enables me to stream to my iPhone images and video which is very useful and much safer than using a ladder or a drone.Does this job for me admirably.

L'ottica è buona, ma non sono riuscito ad attivare l'NFC ed il collegamento in wifi è un po' lento. Inoltre potrebbe essere più completa la gestione dello scatto (es controllo del diaframma). insomma: il software è da completare e migliorare, ma le foto vengono bene.

ho acquistato questa lente avendo già una Sony QX10, della quale sono abbastanza soddisfatto, attratto dallo zoom 25 X, l'accoppiamento lente telefono avviene abbastanza velocemente, peccato che perde spesso la connessione e quando la perde occorre togliere la batteria alla lente, perché quando la lente non è connessa allo smartphone non funziona nulla, nemmeno lo spegnimento della medesima.Spesso non salva le foto scattate, e quando si tenta di fare un filmato, 2 volte su tre al termine rimane in attesa e non lo salva, occorre togliere la batteria e rimetterla affinché si possa spegnere.In conclusione, quando funziona fa foto decenti, ma solo quando funziona, cioè una volta si tre.Completamente inaffidabile, bidonata solenne.
